This is the first review I have ever done as I don't do reviews. But the meal I received compared to the other reviews was so underwhelming I felt I had too! I went there on the 31/8/18 with my 15 yr old son he ordered the kids nachos and I ordered the regular veg/ bean nachos, as were nachos fans. You can upgrade to a large for $18 but I thought the nachos I usually receive are so big, a large would be massive and it was $18! Boy was I wrong! they brought our meals out and the kids $7 nachos was the same size as the regular $14 nachos. Size aside, let me describe the dishes; the regular Nachos had chips that would amount to a hand full. It was topped with a tiny amount undercooked black beans straight from the can, oily cheese, a tea spoon of sour cream and about the same amount of very bland guacamole ,no jelapenos, I could vaguely detect some coriander in it but apart from that, the dish was bereft of flavour what so ever! So much so that I very politely asked the waitress if they had any hot sauce. She eventually came out with a little bottle telling me that's all they had "sorry". My son ordered the chicken nachos and the travesty that arrived was chicken meat dredged in what tasted like sweet chilli sauce. It was sickly sweet, cold and totally unauthentic. Next the waitress came over and asked if she could take or dishes away while my son was still eating? Probably because I finished my underwhelming meal in like 3 minutes. After the meal I went over to the fish and chip shop ( which is...
Read moreDestroyed my expections of Mexican Restaurants. From my experience Mexican Restaurants are places you are invited to and you are left leaving feeling of being ripped off with a meal you could have cooked better at home. Rodeo was the exact opposite. We arrived 1 hour late on a Saturday night, with 12 people. They were very accomodating with our delay even though the restaurant was at full capacity. Fantastic large meals that were a taste sensation served by freindly and attentive staff. 3 blokes (including me) had the house special a bbq steak fajita. A delicious sticky steak sauce with tender steak, cheese, rice, lettuce, tomatoe salsa and i ordered the hot sauce. A true flavour sensation. I got to try enchiladas and a few burritoes of different flavours... Equally devine. 5 normal magarittas for others and i ordered the chilli magaritta which certainly had a kick but was perfectly balanced. A couple of young staff managed by a front of house manager were freindly, very attentive and focused. All together a great dining experience. I will certainly be back again. Looking at Zomato it seems the menu has down sized which i beleive the other menu would have been hard to cook such a massive range of food with perfection. Downsizing brings that quality and care and for me this place is now a must eat destination....
Read moreLost a customer!!! Ordered online for delivery a few weeks ago. Delivery time said it would be around 40 minutes, we waited over an hour and a half. When the meals did arrive we had received someone else's order. They collected the wrong meals and remade our correct ones to be redelivered, only for us to wait another hour and a half for these.. then still had missing items. No apology from restaurant or offer of a refund after having to wait 3hrs just to get our meals.
Decided to give them another go. Only to find each main items price has gone up about $5 each. Multiple items no longer available and now you can no longer choose different meat options for your main, example Enchiladas are only chicken now and can't get beef. Completely understand restaurants need to increase prices due to everyday prices going up for everyone. However meals that use to come standard with sour cream and guacamole, you now need to pay for these individually. $4 for guacamole and $3 for sour...
