Overall….. one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in sometime.

extremely overpriced untrained wait staff poorly prepared, cooked and presented meals manager clearly knew they were wrong, but did little to try and rectify or explain the situation microwaved food

Tom Yum Soup arrived at the table lukewarm. I requested that it be redone. The young wait staff politely stated that it would be redone by the kitchen. Within 3-4 minutes, it was brought back to the table. I asked them wait staff if the soup (which also had prawns in it) had been microwaved. He replied, no, the ‘sauce’ had been replaced. I pointed out that it was soup, not sauce. The bowl was scorching hot and had clearly been in the microwave. The, I’m assuming, owner then approached the table. I relayed my concerns that seafood had been reheated in the microwave. All I received was ‘I’m sorry, I’ll take the soup off your bill’.

The rest of the meal was mediocre.

Duck was clearly overdone and very dry.

All vegetables were underdone and I also suspect microwaved. They were also cut with some form of mandolin or vegetable cutter. This gave the vegetables a very generic, tv shopping look. We also had the butt of a capsicum in the plate.

Totally FANTABULOUS Thai Restaurant in the heart of town (not what I got to have growing up here in the 1980s!). It’s a wonderfully small restaurant so you actually DO get to have an atmosphere & experience. Food servings are ENORMOUS, beautiful in taste (genuine Thai - I’ve lived in Sydney for 3 decades so I know proper Thai food because at home I only ever eat at Thai Nesia on Oxford St), incredibly well priced & it’s simply “a wonderful night out”. Staff were divine. Food was exquisitely created & wonderful. Everything was superb & incredibly great value - thank you so much 😘😘😘

If you read any negative reviews about this place, take this from a 51 year old Sydney gay boy who grew up in Cleveland & Alexandra Hills LONG BEFORE we ever had REAL Thai food in the Redlands: the IDIOT trashing this WONDERFUL restaurant is likely (1) a competitor, or (2) a clinically obese person who costs us & our healthcare system too much & therefore should stop eating altogether, or simply “shut up & eat at Maccas or KFC where you clearly belong, you slag”, or (3) both 1 & 2! 😱😜😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Went for an early family dinner. Ordered for Mongolian chicken and holy basil chicken along with jasmine rice and pad Thai noodles. The menu never mentioned that they add fish sauce (with a around pungent smell) in their Pad Thai. The person who took the order didn’t bother to check. When we requested them to change as we do not eat fish sauce and usual thai Restros that we have been to (including eating joints in Thailand) do not add fish sauce, we were point blank refused stating we should have told them not to add fish sauce. We tried requesting stating that the menu does not say that pad thai had fish sauce but the lady owner seemed as if she didn’t care. With the prices they have on their menu, they could have easily made a first visit a happy one by just changing the order but guess greed weighed heavier than customer satisfaction. Definitely not going there again and never recommending this place to any family and friends. Guess it definitely was not a...
