Generally I am a huge fan of Subway, but not this time! I bought an Egg and Cheese foot long sub this morning around 9:15, and the bread I chose was Malted Rye.
Story in short : The bread was too crunchy and hard around the edges in a disappointing way. Upon asking for the reason to Tilia, a staff member at the store, advised that "if you buy a Sub before 9:30 or 10:00 AM, you would be served with the bread which was baked the previous night." Surprisingly, she was not sorry for the experience I had!
Recommendation: If you ever walk-in into any Subway store right after the opening hours, you would most likely be served with a bread that was baked the previous night. The male staff member working today who was training the new kid was really great. He kept my chicken allergy in mind with no fuss while trying to balance the stress of teaching someone else while busy. I really appreciate the fact that he took it seriously and made sure there was no cross-contamination. Thank you so much dude!
The only reason I can’t give this restaurant 5 stars is because of the female manager who may or may not still work their who told me to leave the store a few months ago when I told her I wanted her to change her gloves after she directly handled chicken while refilling the station because, and I quote, “everything in here is cross-contaminated” and I’m better off elsewhere.

How this place has 4 stars is beyond me?? Salads always seem to look days old, somewhat slimy & limp. If I'm paying, I prefer my salad fresh & crisp thanks! Please lift your food standards here!! Apart from that, restaurant is large, plenty of seating, ample parking, staff seem friendly enough. The building is a bit run down & could use a fresh makeover. If you clean the place up & lift your food standards, I'll give you 4 stars.
