Absolutely the worst customer service ever experienced. When paying for a delivery you assume you pay for ALL items ordered. However this store was incompetent in fulfilling an order placed. Upon delivery my elderly, unlicensed father realised his drink was missing, the delivery driver argued it wasnât in the order placed. My father then called the KFC and spoke to the manager on duty to be abused and told unless he placed another order and paid another $8 delivery fee, he would not be receiving this order. No where when placing the order did it say âYou will be held liable to pay for an extra delivery for missing items on orders we are incompetent of fulfilling or you will forfeit items.â Amazing money scamming hack to your loyal customers, âwe wonât give you what you ordered entirely but if you buy more again and pay delivery again we will give it otherwise we keep itâ. Disgusting that a company treats our elderly and vulnerable like this. Disgusting the store manager thought it was okay to abuse a man calling up to notify you of a missing item and screaming over the phone is disgusting. I hope your dad is never in this position and that youâre never too far to help him. For reference we live 4km, 8km round trip, you well and truly made your profit on the $8 fee but to try to charge it TWICE due to your own incompetency and fault of your own is ridiculous.    Read moreWent through the drive through. I felt sorry for the staff - not sure what was happening in store but the wait at the drive through was 40 minutes from when we ordered to when we arrived at the window to collect our food.
On arrival at the window, the member of staff very cautiously said there was a 15 minute wait on the chicken. We'd already paid so had to wait.
The staff member was very apologetic about the delay but no explanation was offered.
I wondered at the time how much abuse from customers the staff had been on the receiving end of given how cautious she was when she spoke to us.
As we were exiting the drive through with our food, other customers were in the very full carpark saying they'd been waiting an hour for food they'd ordered on the app because the drive through was so busy. Not sure how accurate that is but that is what they were saying.
In terms of the food, the Zinger had no heat. Not sure what the process with Zingers is at this store - I could see the Zinger flavour on the chicken (only just) but couldn't taste it. Zingers are advertised as being really hot in terms of flavour. This was not.

I am a food delivery driver and had a pick up at KFC Strathpine. When I arrived, they havenât started on the order and I waited about 7 to 10 minutes then when the food was ready it was left there on the counter and the employee left me waiting there with the food in front of me to go and help a customer that just arrived without saying anything. I then asked if my order was ready to go because I had no communication from the KFC employee. He replied âno, it shorted the drinksâ. He then spent another few minutes with the customer. Only then did he take out two Pepsis from the fridge and put it in a bag and gave it to me?
My opinion is that he shouldâve finished putting only two drinks in one bag and handed my My order so that I could be on my way and not lose money waiting.
I am not sure if this is KFCâs policy that food delivery orders are not a priority in the order that they were received. If it is, then I think that is bad for business, because I will never accept another delivery from KFC Strathpine.
And if it is not the policy, then please train your employees, so that they know that.
