KFC Gunnedah — Restaurant in Gunnedah

Food was fantastic.. However, we only stopped here to take a bathroom break, and what a mistake that was.. The bathrooms were just pure filth, I can't even express my disgust in the conditions of the bathroom. Urine soaked toilet paper all over the floor, faeces dried to the toilet bowl, not only inside, but outside the bowl itself. The stench of Urine can be smelt the moment you swing open the door. I didn't use this disgusting facility, I would have rather squated behind a tree on the side of the road somewhere. I did address this with a member of staff, who wasn't impressed that I had an issue with the appalling conditions, and mentioned it to a fellow staffer, who I believe was the manager on duty, only to be met with several dirty looks, while she prepared orders. As a previous manager of a fast food outlet myself and a WH&s inspector, I have reported this store and the conditions of the toilet facilities along with photographs.. As I regularly pass through the town, I'm sure at some point I will stop into this store, not to use the bathroom facilities , but just to check on the condition they are being kept. KFC Gunnedah, you really need to pull your finger out and start cleaning and maintaining a higher level of cleanliness after what I have observed...

In town visiting family for Christmas. Went into the restaurant after ordering on the app. Floors were in the worst condition of any restaurant I have ever been in. I spoke to the shift manager, who thanked me for the feedback - not sure on the follow-up actions taken.

That being said I usually wouldn't then do a bad follow up review on here, but I don't feel that there is any plausible excuse other than flat out laziness for the floor being in that condition at 12pm - two hours after open. The real kicker was the used bandaid in the middle of the floor a metre in front of the counter.

God help you if a health inspector was to do a surprise inspection. Pick up your game guys.

EDIT: Was contacted by the Area Manager after placing a further complaint with head office. She let me know that she had implemented a new cleaning checklist with the crew at Gunnedah after driving from the Armidale store the same day of my complaint to do a spot inspection. She said she will be keeping a closer eye on things. Appreciate the follow up. I'll see how it's going next time...

Unfortunately I had no choice but to give it one star because google would not allow me to go any lower... Straight up, food there was horrible, disgusting absolute garbage and those are some very generous words. The staff omg the staff, they were insanely rude they were lazy, slow, too busy chatting to each other and playing absolutely disrespectful music with their phones through the speakers, containing words such as Fk, Nier and B**CH. I went to the counter to get salt on my half filled chips as they were stale like cardboard I asked a girl at the counter if I could get some salt on my chips she looked at me rolled her eyes and walked away so I decided to return to my seat and finish eating but I could not stomach it so I decided to just throw all my food in the bin. Horrible staff, Horrible food, Horrible service. I think next time I'll go to...
