The Verdict Coffee — Restaurant in Gunnedah

Lovely place to stop for lunch or coffee and cake or ice creams. We stopped here on our way through the town and reckon we found the best place in town. It was a bit different to the usual sandwich or toastie but similar price. We had the Honey Pumpkin Melt & the Turkey, cranberry, avocado & Brie Melt both which were served on a very thick piece of yummy toast. They were delicious and quite filling. Coffee was good. We finished it off with ice cream in a cup. Very clean spacious cafe to dine in at . Service was great. The lady taking the orders was very friendly and helpful . They were doing a constant amount of trade. We would go there again when passing....

Very generous serve of Eggs Benedict. I got the basic one with Ham for $19 but I added hash browns for $3 for 2. I would have been happy with half the ham but OMG it was such a good amount of Hollandaise I was so impressed and the eggs were perfectly cooked and huge. No weird garnish to ruin it either. Just a good generous portion. The only thing was that it came out so fast I didn't have my coffee yet and I like to start with a few sips of coffee but it was busy so all good. It would have been nice also if the Hollandaise was warm as it cooled everything down pretty quickly. But overall I'm very impressed with the service and the portion. Will definitely go...

Stayed in town overnight and had to have breakfast at The Verdict. It seemed every local in the district had come in for brekky. This means that it has to be good. It was very good. Regardless that we ordered just after a group of about a dozen others, our server let us know that there would be a wait. We were OK with that and anyway she under promised and over delivered on the time frame. We shared a full turkey, cranberry and camembert melt and scones with real cream and delicious jam. Great atmosphere and fantastic service...
