So i looked up on there website to see their menu and prices. I placed an order on the phone and after I had placed my order, the total came up to more than what i had intended it to be. When I questioned the man, his response was in a very abruptly manner. This is not our website! I told him that it was the same menu as what i found on their website, the difference was the menu instore was an updated one, so when i was looking at their menu on their Website. I took into consideration how much the total was gona be. I told him that the website needs to be updated, so that people know how much they are spending. His response became very defensive and strongly told me that if I wanted the right menu to go onto their Facebook and find them there. If I look up a Chinese restaurant in harrisdale and this shop comes up, im expecting to them to have the same prices on any website they are going through as what they have instore. So i can budget how much im spending. My meal costed an additional $15 more than what I had budgeted for. There was no remorse or apologise on behalf of the situation. When I explained the predicament to him he became very defensive and hostile to the situation telling me once again that this was not the website to the store, but it clearly it was the website, because that is how i found out about them and also found their number to ring them to place my order. The service made me feel very unsatisfied and disappointed in the way the situation was handled. Look the food was good and expect it to be, as always. The service was appoling and will never return. Hence the harsh one star. Sometimes service is the key to running a...

Do NOT BOTHER even thinking of dining in to eat here my wife an I are from sydney the place seemed ok was about 8:30pm looking forward to a meal after hard days work renovating only to be rudely spoken to an said sit over there at this big table I said why cant we sit here the table for two? to which she snapped back we're closing soon an we are cleaning up so half the restaurant was closed off we felt very belittled shocked the nerve of this young girl she'd make Hitler's staff at the death camps look like 5 star waiter's.. after I complained saying this is not good enough her reply was theres subway an pizza next door this point we were seething and hungry so upset an angry we left only to complain an give feedback to the management the next day to which we got not even a sorry just that it's normal to start cleaning half hour before when clearly says 9pm closing on the door.. I said your customers if you treated everyone like this soon they'd be able to walk through a harp... the overweight useless manager has no idea or sense of humor also this restaurant DOESNT EVEN OFFER TABLE WATER EVEN YOU HAVE TO BUY BOTTLED WATER ! ALSO CANNOT BUY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES THERE NO LIQUOR LICENSE YOU CANT EVEN GET DRUNK AT THIS PLACE TO NUMB THE PAIN they do have byo wine apparently BUT by this stage we lost interest. Do yourself a favor and avoid this joint like the plague ALSO SEEING THE CHEFS SUCKING ON CIGARETTE AFTER CIGARETTE OUT THE FRONT DOOR SPEAKS OF THE ARROGANCE OF THIS JOINT...

If I could add 1/4 star I would have done that! Going from Sydney, Reading the reviews me and my hubby we decided to try this place, time was 8.30pm and we just wanted to get, get our meals, eat and leave after a hards day of work of a Reno job. Went there firstly couldn’t sit on a table for two, got seated next to A family enjoying their meals however it seemed like we were in their space and we couldn’t even talk to each other unless we yelled, requested for another table to be told no u can’t sit there as it’s getting cleaned. I said it’s only 8.30 pm and closing time is 9 pm to which a rude employee told us we can walk to subway or the pizza joint- hang on if I wanted pizza or subway I would have gone there by myself. Later on the manager got involved and said if we are interested he would personally look after us if we wanted to come next time, as by then we lost our appetite. Anyway, two days later we decided to give it another go - this time we got a table but serving time was just appalling!! No water, had to buy bottles of water, why can’t you give customer tap water? And food we got recommended made us both sick, only to throw up 15 mins later. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS JOINT! 😤 #Disappointed #poorservice...

A nice suburban Chinese restaurant with nice a cosy layout and seating arrangement. The settings projected that the cost of the food will be on the high side. Having not providing free drinking water is the first clue towards the price indication. Next browsing through the menu confirmed the suspicions. Anyway, we noticed that the majority of the guests are Caucasians and only a small percentage of Asians. Anyway, the food is OK only. It is not the best as compared to a more authentic Chinese restaurant. The salted fish and chicken fried rice is a bit salty. The hainan chicken rice was served with the ginger rice. The rice is nice but again the chicken is a bit salty and the taste of soy sauce is very prominent in the sauce. The char kuey teow is friend with lap cheong but the taste is also not authentic Chinese. In summary, it is a great restaurant to relax and have a meal with friends but if you want authentic Malaysia / singapore Chinese food, then this is not the first choice. Finally, to compliment the restaurant, the customer service is great and definitely got a positive customer experience there. Hence I will still come back again as I will enjoy great ambience and have positive customer experience.

8/9/2023 We attended with a large group of 25 people for a friend's birthday dinner. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. Two people can order fried rice and main dish and share it. The staff were friendly and patient. The restaurant has an awesome atmosphere but is not suitable for large gatherings as we were separated into 3 sections which made socialising a challenge. One of the staff asked us to sit and chat rather than stand and we thought this was not necessary. Also, the food took a long time to come out, and meat dishes were brought out without the accompanying rice, which arrived 20 minutes later, which meant the food got cold. I suggest in large groups like these that the orders are taken a few days before, and a list of the names and dishes are kept by the host and kitchen staff. In this way, the chef, kitchen, and staff are prepared. This worked well in another restaurant I attended. Also, an extra staff could be on shift to speed things up as we were all starving. There should be more vegetarian options available. All in all, it's a great restaurant and I will go back again in a smaller group. #Kree4sai 🌟 🌟 🌟

The staff was great and polite. The environment is ok. But the great disappointment was the FOOD! You can tell by the 4 dishes we ordered and what was left over, how amazing (not) are the food. Mee Goreng was more like tomato sauce noodles. Lemon chicken fried rice had a strange odour with the rice. Chicken rice was overly salty and rice was not chicken rice, just plain rice. Wonton noodles had THICK Char-Siew (some may like it thick, like steak). The wonton was weird! It is like someone had just wrap the wonton skin over a meatball. 🤦‍♂️ Well don't take my word for it, try it for yourself and decide.😞
