I failed to understand that Why on Earth this Indian Restaurant Owners or staff thinks that they are still in India. No Customer service etiquetts, no apologies , no smile , no eye contact. It seems they only care of your card when you tap on to pay.
I phone ordered so that I dont have to wait, they advised to come pick up after half an hour , i reached there almost after 40 minutes. Not at all surprised, the lady looked from inside the kitchen and never bothered to even come out. I had to ring that old fashioned bell on the counter to call her. Guess what no response, the only reason she came out when the phone rang....She spoke on phone , took some order and went inside again as if she is blind enough to notice someone standing at the counter. Atleast have courtesy to ask how can she help. But Who Cares.
I had to call her again , ask her about my order, and the answer was will be ready shortly. No sorry for delay, no regret that its not ready and absolute no customer service. Even after she said will be ready shortly, it took almost 20 minutes to get our food....considering total order time till pick up time, its like more than 1 hour .
Saffron Valey, you will not go far enough with such typical non customer centric approach. Treat your customer properly, if you say half an hour , then make sure food is ready in half an hour....if you cant for some reason , have little courtesy to say sorry Its not ready yet...this will go long way.
Would not recommend it to anyone. They need to first learn time management and...
Read more"I would advise everyone to be cautious when visiting this establishment. We recently encountered a serious issue with price discrepancies between the displayed prices and the final bill. The bill was almost double the advertised menu prices, and when we raised this concern, we received only a verbal apology with no adjustment or refund.
Following this, the staff brought out a different menu with increased prices, which raised further concerns. It felt very misleading and unaligned with standard practices we expect from Australian businesses. This experience left us feeling like we were taken advantage of, and it did not reflect the honesty and transparency that should be present in any reputable business.
I’d recommend others to verify prices carefully or consider other options until these issues are addressed. I'm going to complain this to the relevant authorities in...
Read moreNewly visiting the Harrisdale area, staying with family, so this was our first ever food order from Saffron Valley. Similar to Maddi Barber’s recent review, Uber Eats driver stuffed up our order – it was simply not delivered to our place, even though the driver reported it was (we confirmed we had given the correct address, and we were even waiting at the front of the Air BnB we were at with the light on, on a well-lit main street – not too sure how any driver could have missed that). However Saffron Valley were nice enough to quickly redo our large order of around $300 worth of food, even though it was right on their closing time. Food was delicious, and majority of it was also gluten free, which was a big plus for our large group which had a few GF eaters. Five stars for Saffron Valley, can’t say the same for the uber...
