I visited the store last week and had another unpleasant experience that reminded me of why I donât visit anymore. I left a review about a year ago under âbjlâ detailing the practically non-existent customer service and the unpleasant ambiance and I was met with exactly the same experience last week. Firstly, there was no greeting at all to the customers, and not just me but everyone else who came in whilst I was there. The girl at the counter just stared blankly at us and didnât say a word, and again the customers were the ones left to do the greetings. After waiting about 10-15min in the store for my drink, other people started coming in with order numbers much greater than mine as they had ordered after me. When I went up to enquire about my drink, the girl just walked straight past me and when I was able to catch her attention, she had no idea what I was talking about?! I asked her if my drink order number was ready and she said âhuhâ, so I repeated and again she didnât know what I meant, I had to explain that I was enquiring about what was happening to my drink as it had been nearly 15min and people who ordered after me already gone to the counter to get theirs and my number hadnât been called out. Eventually she checked and turns out my drink was sitting behind the counter for a while, but no one had called out the number?! I was sat in the store on the bench the whole time and listening and watching for any numbers being called, and no drink order numbers were called out at all. How are customers supposed to know when their drink is ready then?? Whatâs the point of printing the order number on the receipt and the drink then if customers are expected to just âknowâ when their drink is ready?? Then she handed me the drink and didnât say a word, just gave it to me and turned away. Honestly just a horrible experience in the store again and reminded me of why I havenât visited for the past year. Itâs unfortunate because the drinks at the store are quite decent, but the store experience is just not good at all and is not...
Read moreOnce for All is a bubble tea shop located at Harrisdale Shopping Centre. Itâs famous for its soy milk boba tea, which is a very good alternative for people with lactose intolerant like me. Itâs not until yesterday that I realised that Once for All is more than just a bubble tea shop.
A group of friends and I went to Once for All after a baby showerâs celebration. I was so keen on the cucumber lychee drink that they sell there, because the flavour is so refreshing đ. The staff at Once for All was really friendly and now I know what differentiate them from most of bubble tea shops.
Once for All use a lot of real fruits in their fruity drinks, which makes the initial cost of making the drink quite expensive. Especially if you go for something like Banana Dragonfruit.
We all know that dragonfruit is a super expensive fruit to use. Since Once for All didnât skimp on ingredients, you can really taste the dragonfruit in this drink! đ
I love the Banana Dragonfruit, but unlike Sharon, I prefer my Pinky Guava. Pinky Guava looks super pretty when the staff handed it to me. If you love guava, this is the perfect drink for you. The guava flavour will transport you to a tropical place right away. If youâre not too keen on cream, feel free to ask the staff to remove the cream from the topping.
If you usually go for original milk tea at other bubble tea shop, try out Once for Allâs version of their famous milk tea: the famous Boba Soy Milk (warm).
There is no added sugar in this drink, so donât choose this one if youâre looking for a sweet drink. The fact that they donât have added sugar really attracts me. đ And lactose intolerant out there, rejoice, because you can definitely drink this one!
Itâs a bit of a trek if you donât live near Harrisdale, but this place is definitely worth the try đ. Especially after learning all of the information behind the drinks at Once for All. If youâre not sure about what to get, just enquire with the staff about the flavour profile that you want. They will be able to...
Read moreAs soon as I walked in, the mood wasn't right. The customer service attendant clearly wasn't happy with my arrival and seemed inconvenienced. I was the only one in the shop at the time. I went in 30 minutes before closing. Even if I had walked in 1 minute before closing, that's not an excuse for poor customer service.
I ordered a fruit tea which was so horrible that I had to throw it in the bin after a few sips. The quality of the ingredients was the issue. The drink lacked tea flavour and had a disgustingly sweet artificial flavour. The boba pearls were obviously not fresh as they were rock hard.
The prices are on par with chain bubble tea shops but the quality is substandard. I would rather drive a few kilometres away to tried and true bubble tea shops than go to this one which is the closest to my place. I really wanted to support a small local business but the poor quality makes it hard for...
