Jimmy’s Smash Burgers is hands down the best spot in Hawks Nest! The burgers are absolutely delicious, the prices are spot on, and the vibe of the place is fantastic—fresh, clean, and welcoming. What really sets it apart is the staff—they’re incredibly friendly and genuinely happy, which is such a rare and refreshing sight around town. They were absolutely under the pump today for lunch - 3 staff calling in sick, and a young guy starting his first shift, but in the 35min I was waiting for my food, they did a fantastic job. It looked like it had been cooked on an unclean grill – there were dark, greasy residues all over the patty and the bun. Honestly, it looked unappetizing and unhygienic.
