Saw so many good food reviews and went there in high expectations today.

But, this place is full of extremely unprofessional people. Waited for 15 minutes for someone to give menu and clean the table. No one came, so went inside to get the menu.

After that waited for someone to take order. Took another half an hour for someone to take order when we called them.

After the order, waited for 45 mins atleast and the girl who took our order, gave tandoori chicken to someone else. She asked two other tables if they ordered that and left on one of those tables.

I went to counter inside to check about order, she said she gave it to someone else.

After waiting for one and a half hour, we left without eating anything. You guys need to learn how to professionally run a restaurant. You are following same desi work culture living abroad.

The owner was least bothered or extremely busy to see overall management. If you don’t know how to handle customers, don’t take booking more than your capacity to handle.

Learn and teach some professionalism to your team. Your staff was so slow. If you are expecting more customers than your capacity on a special day like valentines, atleast manage that well , hire more staff or train the ones that you have.

Highly disappointed, never had the experience where I left a restaurant without eating and waiting for one and a half hour.

We attended The Swan today for lunch. We have been twice before but unfortunately today it was not upto its usual standard. We arrived and were not greeted by staff. Once we got shown to a table we ordered a hounded free vegetarian pizza, linguini carbonara and a side of hot chips. We had a staff member approach us approximately 10 minutes later and inform us that there we no GF pizza bases left so ordered a chicken korma instead. My 3 yr old daughter and I decided to play on the playground and on the bikes however the playground was in need of repair and all the bikes had been left outside in the rain and were rusted and unrideable, unlike previous times when we’ve attended.

The chicken korma arrived first about 30-40 minutes after our initial order. That didn’t taste too bad. The linguini carbonara came next about 10 minutes later however it was fettuccine carbonara, was missing the bacon that was advertised and basically just tasted like plain pasta in water. I then had to ask staff about the hot chips for my three year old daughter and was told they were coming. They arrived about five minutes later so my guess is that they forgot them and made them quickly. We were forced to get them takeaway as I had to goto work.

Ultimately the customer service was really poor, the food was substandard and the facilities are extremely run down. I would no longer...

I went here based on so many 5-star reviews but it did not live up to the hype. Admittedly there were several 1-star reviews, mostly about poor service and now I understand why.

The food was for the most part decent, although the 'spicy' Rogan Josh was not very spicy at all, despite the menu and wait-staff assuring me that it would be. Serving sizes were very generous. Flavours were good but the presentation was nothing like the up-market pictures showed, and were in fact more 'casual cafe' style.

Rice was well cooked. Naan breads were almost certainly not cooked in a Tandoor oven but they did the job and the Keemah Naan was one of the best in proportion and flavour that I've had for a long time.

Service was not at all rude in any way but it was extremely slow. The restaurant was about a third full when I arrived and throughout my order. The drink I ordered immediately when I sat down never arrived.

Over the next 20-25 minutes, I had to ask three times for someone to come and take my food order. The starter eventually arrived and then, before I was even a third of the way through, the main dishes all arrived. I personally hate when that happens.

So overall, my excitement and expectations were dashed and it's unlikely I'd return. Food was just OK, service...
