Share my personal experience I bought a drink in this coffee shop. After I found plastic pieces inside my drink, I was shocked. I couldn't believe this could actually happen. Next day, I talked with City Council showed them the evidence I have. The city council was doing effective job. On the same day, city council found out what happened. The coffee do offering drinks with plastic pieces inside!!! And only God knows how many months or years they are selling it! The city council staff told me the owner was sorry about it. But when I walked in the coffee shop, the owner couple looked like no apology at all. They told me they are too busy to talk with me, ask me to wait for 2 hours!!! After 30 minutes, I'm tired of waiting, the lady owner told me if I didn't talk to city council, there is a chance they will offer me compensation. But I have talked with Council, they refused to pay compensation to me, also welcome me back with lawyers!!!!! See their attitude!!! The owners didn't feel council is helping them, they see council giving them trouble to prevent them making money.

The male owner acted like I'm the one doing wrong things that he didn't have time to talk with me!!!!

Because I have no idea about Australia laws, I don't know what to do. So, I asked help from the city council. But the first Guy from city Council he told me, it could be just a staff being careless, but his female coworker proved that this 'careless' behavior already happened for a very very long time.

Also, after half week past. The lady owner told me that they have no idea why the plastic goes inside the drink!!!! I feel she was trying to say, she didn't care what inside the food or drink that they are selling to people,as long as they can make money! The fact is they were selling drink with plastic pieces!!! And she said this could be my fault!!! How is that my fault? Should I just drink all the plastic pieces of what they offered with the drink???? How could she say this could be my fault!!!!!

I have noticed that this coffee shop has many aged people, and very very young kids with their parents. People! Pay attention with your food! Check what inside it before you eat or drink. I don't want anyone to drink plastic, just like I did.

By the way, the plastic I drunk was not soft plastic. they are quite sharp and firm plastic. That's how I found out something is wrong.

I don't really understand why this shop still opening like nothing happened. Why they did not inform their customers that the drink they offered were not safe.

The owner couple didn't realize how lucky that they can stop hurting more people when I point out the danger in drink. This couple should thank me! But this couple see me as a trouble! They told me because I gave evidence to council, it brings them trouble! But the council was helping them to figure out why the danger exist inside the drink! The council is trying to help! Well, obviously the owners have no idea why they keep offering people with drink got plastic pieces inside! And they hate to see council. They only want earn money from customers, it looks like they don't care about customers safety!! Now I feel sad for people who still walk...

The owner must not be in a good mood today. I went in and the staff told me to grab a seat and I told her that I only wanted a coffee and a slice of cake. She told me that it's fine to order at the counter. When I went to the counter, the male owner (Danny) told me (in an already raised voice) that I should grab a seat first so that the staff will get my order and cutlery. I tried to tell him that I was only getting a coffee and a slice of cake but he didn't try to listen and continued to tell me to grab a seat in a raised and annoyed voice. When I turned around to find a seat, the female staff that I was speaking to earlier was behind me and apologised to me as she saw and heard the whole thing. The one star is for the attitude and mood swings of the owner because he was calm and had a normal voice when I paid the bill. Also, I don't want to play the race card and only tried to think that he was only in a bad mood however I saw that he was friendly and polite while serving caucasian customers (he even went out to put freshly cracked pepper on one of the customer's food). Apart from that, the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The coffee and...

Our last brunch stop for our Tasmanian honeymoon, and the best meal we'd had all week. Everything was absolutely amazing, including the atmosphere and service. My husband ordered one classic eggs benny (from the Eggs Benedict section!) with some extra halloumi, and peppermint-steeped hot chocolate, both of which were the best he'd had. I'm a relatively new coffee-drinker, but I've worked at a café known for its coffee, and the almond latte I got was excellent! Well made, well-balanced and comforting. If you're indecisive like me, go for their "3 Little Pots" option. Instead of choosing between an eggs benedict, avo toast or fritters, you get a selection of all three at a lower price than buying a whole plate of one of the options; truly delightful. I couldn't walk out without buying a chocolate chip bikky the size of my face from the front counter, which now occupies a high rank in my entire experience of...
