This one of few if any decent takeaway products. First there is the fact that upon every purchase you help feed somebody else. I have never eaten the meat products at this place so I cannot comment on that. Nor have I eaten the bowls. But the burritos signature, with beans, black rice, cauliflower, guac and I get the trezigo, and red chilli sauce. Mad feed, I can eat a large portion and not be full. I eat one big burrito with no sides and I am full. That goes a long way. I eat double ultimate double whopper meal @ pretty much the same price. I am hungry half an hour later and feel like crap. Back to the burrito, how many takeaway restraunts have black rice and pepitas. I have have inconsistant portion sizes, this comes down to the person making it and their enthusiasm. A lot of younger ones, especially skinny girls terrible at making food. No toppings many sauce. The person who made my burrito today really could not have gotten more topping on their if she tried. And this more often or not the case with Zombreros. In comparison with gyg there is no comparison. GYG have got to be the worst most overpriced processed so called mexican I have ever eaten. Dog food. You got to ask yourselves if these guys go away what options are left. We need more takeway like this. The only takeaway company I like. I see a lot of people complaining. Maybe try different options. One old mate posted his burrito complaining about a lack of filling. The picture look like it was bursting at the seams. How much topping do you want, they need to be able to roll it yeh. As for presentation, how good can you expect rice, beans, tomato, sour cream and guac to look when its put in a pile and mashed together. Honestly I do not know what people are whinging about. Keep up the good work and the good deeds. Remember every meal you pay for here, you are helping feed somebody...
Read moreBeing a regular customer to this branch I believe you don’t deserve this kind of customer experience.
First of all, when I entered the restaurant the staff who served was sweeping the floor behind the counter, didn’t bother to sanitise or wash her hands before serving me.
I went to purchase my regular order 2 burritos. When I asked the staff to add lime to both the burritos she said they don’t have lime. Seriously?
And when I asked to add crushed nachos on the top she said they don’t have it. The interesting part of it is just after that I spotted nachos in the regular container kept behind the serving counter, when I pointed out to her she said ‘they are off and they are waiting for the new batch to be delivered.’
I will like to highlight here, when they are off why you have kept it behind the counter like the way to be served? Maybe some other team member serves it to the customer which can create health problems to anyone.
Felt like she is being just lazy to do her job which she is being paid to do so.
I might never return to the Moonah Restaurant because of the customer service I have got today.
She was kinda rude, judgmental and not polite at all.
It WAS always a great restaurant to visit, will never like to be served from the same person.
Message to the owner- You might have to hire mystery shoppers to see the behaviour of...
Read moreZambrero's is usually great, absolutely love the burritos, the kids eat free promotion is a bit misleading, on a strict budget at the time and one of my son's have been wanting to try a burrito, thought this promotion was a great way for my boy to try a burrito, but apparently not, the made burrito was thrown in the bin as I couldn't afford it, as I was leaving my son asked where his burrito was when I passed him the kids bowl, so I ended up going back in and spending $11.90 more than I planned to, just to keep my promise. I'm disappointed!
I still haven’t been back to your establishment, four years later I’m still holding a grudge that the manager that day thought it was better to throw the burrito in the trash than to let my child have it, not because I feel entitled but you’ll just wasted food because of poor advertisement, I wasn’t aware that there was a kids menu and nothing about a kids menu was mentioned in the advertisement and nothing was said when I started ordering a burrito for my child who was with me, he could have asked if I was getting a free meal for him and then could have corrected me but nothing was said until it was...
