I honestly don’t understand the hype about this place. Visiting from Melbourne, this was by far the worst pho and banh mi I’ve ever had. The pho broth had no beef flavour at all, and the beef itself had an unpleasant smell. The banh mi wasn’t even served on a traditional French baguette, and the crackling pork was mediocre at best.
On top of that, the service was disappointing. I came at peak hour (6pm), which I understand can be busy, but the staff still looked visibly impatient while I was ordering. A little respect for your customers goes a long way.

Went back for smoky grilled beef Banhmi and satay chicken rice. Both are worth sampling but hot soupy pho is still our favourite comforting food for a cold June evening.

The crackling pork in my Banh Mi was dry and the crackling certainly didn't crackle, it was hard like it had been kept warm all day, if not multiple days. The roll itself was chewy like a supermarket hot dog roll, definitely not a freshly baked baguette. Flavour was ok, but lacked the freshness of coriander which you expect in a Banh Mi. I had high hopes as this restaurant is much closer to me than Cyclo/Ja & Jon's, but I think I'll stick to traveling into town next time I feel like a...
