Commercial Hotel Redbank — Restaurant in Ipswich City

Restaurant stuffed up my meal order. After waiting almost an hour for our meals I was given something I didn't order. The waitress informed me that my filet Mignon was not available and had not been all day so a sirloin was substituted without asking me. When I complained I was informed that I hadn't ordered the filet and had been told it was not available. I asked to speak with the manager. Was spoken to by the person who took the original order and he said it was my fault and that no further action was warranted. Told him to take it away and asked for a refund. Rudely called me a liar but when told the lady in the queue had heard my order got the Restaurant manager. After discussion with the apparent real manager was told I would get a refund but not before I was told I was too aggressive. Informed the manager that I had been called a liar. Eventually got a refund. Have dined here several times but this will be the last. Sorry to say but there will be no recommendations forthcoming until the staff understand that customers are...

Wow what a night my husband and myself celebrated our 34th wedding Anniversary tonight if l could have rated it more l would love to had the chicken Snitzel cooked fantastic golden hot and chips to die for not to mention the salad fresh and had a crunch chicken gravy yummy, Jamie and the staff treated us with respect and smiles all the way around ,clean restaurant and wheel chair friendly for sure as a wheelchair person who misses out l did not tonight, Husband had the steak with Mushroom sauce was dreamy he said salad and hot chips ,and the chocolate brownie with ice cream topped with a smile and manners,Glass a wine cheers to that we will be back if they will have us ,any time a fabulous crowd was all happy wonderful place to go great value for money really, that's what it's about kitchen staff and all staff in uniforms Congratulations on your Restaurant. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with any issues that arise. Their friendly and welcoming demeanor has made each visit even more enjoyable.
