Sadly, I most likely will not return to this place.
Sat down and ordered duck bao buns. While we waited for the bao buns, we had a look to get some sushi and none of them looked appealing. The food looked messy and not fresh. It looked like it had been sitting on that train since morning and should not have been served.
We quickly changed our mind and tried to cancel our bao buns before it came out so we could go dine at another restaurant so we called a staff through the tablet. One of the guys came to our table and we asked if we could cancel our order. He responded rudely and gave me a dirty look then said no we already made it. Watched him walk back to the kitchen to proceed making it … it actually wasn’t made and walked back out with a half arsed bao bun.
I didn’t mind having to pay for it because we obviously had ordered the food and if they already made it then fair will pay. Much to my disappointment the bao buns came out looking dehydrated and sucked out of life .
They didn’t even bother to make the bao buns look edible. The bun was cold, duck reeked and didn’t smell nice. (*mind you, I love duck) the bao bun literally just had 3 small pieces of duck (size of a 20 cent coin and smaller) and 2 cold cucumbers with sauce.
We still paid for the meal as the guy who had initially greeted us was kind. The man in the kitchen was just very rude and didn’t have great customer service which is really disappointing because when they had first opened up, their food was delicious and staff was always friendly.

Read moreWent to enjoy a sit down experience with my 4 kids at around 4.15pm Sunday 29th December 2024, upon arriving the 2 chefs just glared at me, not a word a smile nothing I’m sure they were talking about me, the cashier wasn’t there for ages so I asked the chef if she could make our order to takeaway, she was condescending and she was not interested in helping at all, she was almost scary, the cashier wasn’t very helpful either, this place used to be so amazing now it’s gone rogue, the staff today were rude and dismissive, another lady with a child told me they were rude to her too, I wanted to let a manager know about this but wasn’t available, they need to know that this horrible customer service could scare the customers away, but decided I’m not even going to bother making a complaint, they have to know what kind of employees they’ve hired surely. Plenty of vegan options, just avoid the mayo dot (wish i could specify on the Ipad to leave out mayo). Usually we eat in, but this one time we got take-away to enjoy the jacaranda flowers and they accepted my tupperware instead of using plastic (fyi: i ordered in advance, but they were so busy at lunchtime peak that I got there before they had boxed the food, so that's why i was able to ask). Love the veggie love roll, green beans & avo roll and the sweet potato nigiri! The staff are frequently under pressure, but always so fast and efficient delivering lovely mini arts of work.
