Absolutely Disastrous Experience – Never Again! I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent visit to Nando’s was so bad I felt obligated to warn others.
From the moment I walked in, the service was appalling. We were ignored at the entrance for nearly 10 minutes, and when someone finally acknowledged us, they seemed annoyed that we dared to walk in. The staff were rude, disinterested, and completely unprofessional. No smile, no welcome – just a vibe that screamed, "we don't want you here."
We finally sat down and ordered, only to wait over 45 minutes for food that arrived cold, soggy, and borderline inedible. The chicken – supposedly their specialty – was dry, chewy, and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The peri-peri flavor? Practically nonexistent. Even the sides were a joke: limp fries, flavorless coleslaw, and garlic bread that could have doubled as a sponge.
To make matters worse, when we politely complained, we were met with eye rolls and excuses. No apology, no effort to fix the situation – just more attitude. Honestly, I’ve had better service and food at a petrol station sandwich counter.
This was not just a bad meal. It was a complete waste of time and money. If you value your taste buds, your time, or your basic human dignity, do yourself a favor and avoid this...

Read moreFirstly, they don't acceptcash so don't go up with cash someone has given you to go get dinner because they won't take it. A food place not taking cash doesn't make sense at all to me and Nandos is already going down my list of places to eat going forward as a result.
After sorting payment I ordered online, which was easy enough. I did it sitting in there amongst a few others that were seemingly doing the same thing.
After 15 minutes I realised no one had been called but there were orders going out to tables so they must have been busy. I did see some bags being made up but they were being put in an area that I had seen Uber etc picking up orders so didn't think much of it.
After 25 mins I approached the counter and asked why I had been waiting so long. The girl at the counter responded with "I don't know, I've been on the register" which wasn't true but whatever. She found my bag in the bunch I had though was for Uber and I know had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes, maybe more.
I asked again if my name had been called like had happened every other time I had ordered online and she gave the same vague response.
