Pho Express — Restaurant in Ipswich City

Ordered a meal at 6:53pm and was sitting inside waiting to be called out for my take-away meal. I decided to approach the counter to ask about my order as I had seen other frustrated customers approaching and asking. I then go up at around 7:37pm and asked, she then said my order was there waiting for me but I wasn’t called. I question why I wasn’t called if she could see me sitting instore waiting. Then I leave with my order and notice my order is wrong. I have to go back in and ask about it. She then gives what was given to me incorrectly to the correct customer and asks me to wait another 5 mins for my correct order and apologises. I ask for her manager she said he wasn’t in today. I asked for supervisor she said the same. No one is given receipts so no one knew if their order was ready. The poor girl was really only doing what she knew and I would say the manager is to blame. There is a bad system in place here for collecting orders/ordering and the manager needs to revise what’s in place especially if they want to be absent on a busy night and expect staff to fill in for customer service expertise they aren’t trained on. Best pho soup ever, I always ordered beef brisket pho soup always come with good decent portion, a lot meat and good broth. And they also have good milk tea!

I would like to revised my review 4 years later of their food quantity and quality and price. It's totally a ripped off, ordered pho soup paid extra noodle cost me $17 x2=$34. I went back to confirm if that was extra noodles, she said yes. All in the bowl, took back home, I swear straight away, ripped off consumers. Not even 6 slices beef, 60% of noodle they tried to pull up noodles make it look extra. Strongly recommend do not buy any food there. I use to be a regular customer here since they opened a few years back, in saying that, they knew what I always ordered and I didn’t have to repeat myself, my family and I would spend at least $80-$100 once a week eating at this place.. However the last few months however, I haven’t seen the regular owners it’s new people working here. The food use to be the best but since the change of staff it’s gone down hill and the wait time is ridiculously long… I miss the old staff who did a great job and always gave the meals out hot and fresh and at a reasonable time.
