Came here with a group of 15 after our game. From the first look we got as we walked in we know we had been judged stereotyped by the bar tender man with long black hair and also the manager. One of our team sponsors asked Bar manager if we could put on a bar tab and was refused because it was deemed stock piling, we didn't want that to ruin our night so we accepted their reason. We were only aloud 2 jugs at a time. There were some families having dinner inside so i told boys let move outside as I didn't want any complaints about our group being too loud. Mind you we were just watching the footy and only had a couple of rounds. Then after 3 rounds we were cut off. I asked bar manager what did we do wrong he said we smashed glasses and skulled drinks. I asked to see the footage and obviously there was no footage so we left. Took our team down to the Redbank Tavern and I even asked the manager there if we could have drinks there and explained what had happened up at Eden Brewhouse. He welcomed us all and we had a great night with no dramas. But the most disappointing part of the night wasn't our experience at Eden's Brewhouse but was when the bar tender from Eden's Brewhouse (caucasion man with long black hair) came down to Redbank Tavern and tried to advised the staff not to serve us because we were smashing glasses and abusing staff. Why? Why did you go out of your way to try ruin our night. Luckily the Redbank Tavern lady behind the bar told him we were fine and that he could leave if he had a problem. In my whole life living in Redbank Ipswich area I've never experienced discrimination and prejudice like I did on Sunday night.

I have been here twice and the serves is always amazing and it was especially good on this occasion as when we called up to make a revered table for 3 the nice lady on the other end gave us a heads up that a table of 25 was coming to their establishment at the same time and that we should consider making a different time resevervation. This was a lovely heads up as not many places do this. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and asked about our resevrtation to which he seated us down at our table. When we sat down we ordered a beer battered flathead, nuggest and chips, a side of sweet potato fries and lemon and pepper squid. We waited 20 minutes for all three dishes and they were quite nice. The beer battered flathead was nicely cooked and the slada added a nice fresh taste, the chicken nuggets and chips are chicken nuggets and chips not much to say. The sweet potato chips had a nice sweetness to them however they were partially burnt and had so much salt, I felt like I was eating a handful of salt. Lastly was the lemon and pepper squid which was cooked well, the coating was evenly spread on the squid and the aoli was a nice touch. Overall had a great experience and will be coming back in the future.

I took my family here for dinner a couple of weeks ago on the 2nd March after making reservations online for 7pm. We were told there would be a 40min wait for dinner when we arrived, as they were busy. When our food arrived it was barely warm. My 3 yr old son ate his luke warm chicken nuggets and chips and ice cream. He licked his ice cream from the table after spilling some, despite our best attempts at negating this behaviour (he's 3). After we arrived home, my son began vomiting. I ended up having to take him to Saint Andrews hospital at 1am with severe vomiting and diarrhoea. Luckily my wife and newborn were spared due to diligence on our part at home with hand washing and cleaning, and only myself cleaning up after my sick son. I ended up with it also on Monday and had to take a few days off work. The restaurant could improve on their food preparation and cleaning tables with vinegar before and after patrons, it's cheap and saves people from getting sick. They could also update their menu to read lamb shank, and not shanks. They did ask me for a review, and I gave them a private review, however no one followed up with us. Google sent me a request to review, so here it is in full.

We had our visit tonight and whilst the food was quite large and tasted ok the visit was dampened by the staff who don't seem to tell the truth from the management down I booked the table for 4 of us originally for last night by mistake and called up 20 minutes later to have it for tonight at 6pm. All was ok, I received 2 emails confirming the booking yesterday and one mobile text msg saying they are waiting to see us at 6pm. FORTUNATELY I called this afternoon to request an inside table and was informed that they didn't have my booking and 7pm was the earliest table vacancy. I complained and the girl checked 2 more times and said she didn't have a booking BUT COULD SQUEEZE us inside at.....wait for it 6pm if we would like to make the booking. Suddenly there is a table, how odd. I called again half an hour later and asked for the manager and a guy said he was a manager. I told him how disappointed I was and he confirmed that a booking was there for 6pm 4 people table 13. No apologies just blamed the telephone system. We arrived at 5.25pm to an EMPTG place almost and the guy said we don't have a 6pm booking but we could sit anywhere! ! ! I said we have table 13 and his reply was WE DON'T HAVE A TABLE 13. All I can say if you choose to give your business to this mob, be sure to call them frequently or you may be eating in the carpark. I don't think we will be back again. TOOOOO MANY LIES AND NON APOLOGETIC STAFF WHO OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. Btw we left at just before 7pm and the place was no were near filled with people....
