Richard bakery — Restaurant in Ipswich City

The food-stuff they make here is fantastic - great value and at great prices too. Richard does his own baking and we discovered this bakery only recently and frankly, it has changed our fortnightly shopping experience. Not sure if the people who run the shop are family related, but I suspect they are and what terrific people they seem to be.

Called into the shop by chance one day on our way home from our fortnightly shop (we live in the country) and we can't help it - we just keep going back to get a few things we need (even if we don't need them) or if it requires a detour from our normal route. We presume they're struggling like a lot of us, but they're always super friendly and eager to please. Real goers in our opinion (this country needs a lot more of them) and we have no hesitation in supporting them as much as we can. I love steak and kidney pie and man, these pies would be the best I've eaten. I doubt anyone could go wrong buying stuff at this place. Good luck to them we say - we hope they...

My new favourite pie shop! Shop is nothing much to look at but pies and sausage rolls are to die for. The lady serving is so kind and polite, it's a pleasure coming here. (Only been twice but her service has been outstanding both times) Only complaint... ( tongue in cheek) They had a sign on the window saying they had milk shakes and got my taste buds wet, and then dashed them cause they had run out of ice-cream. Now I'll have to go back again and get more pies to try the...

Absolute perfection every single time! We go a couple of times a week to get a pie or two and mock cream apple turnover. We have never had any reason to complain.

The staff are always full of smiles, super helpful and the prices are the best we have seen for the big size of the pies. We happily drive 15 mins ineach directions go here.

Drove all the way to Fernvale once as they were supposed award winning. We turned around drove the 25mins back...
