Place doesn't look like much outside but inside is a modernised hamptons look dining area with it's white walls, ceiling and open window picture frame perfect view to the outside.. Even if it's to a carpark. But can't beat natural lighting Book ahead if you want a table of more than 2 people. We went end of winter, stormy weekend thinking no1 would be in town and almost all indoors was fully booked. They also have an outdoor area, and the bar but it's table service so no1 standing at the bar. We ordered 400g Marg river steak cooked medium rare to perfection. The jus was extremely salty for me but edible. Also got the lamb shank which was delicious however the main reason we got it was cos it comes with Yorkshire pudding. Yorkshire pudding was undercooked inside but cooked to a crisp outside. It was like a dry shrivelled piece of cardboard. We asked about this failed Yorkshire pudding and to get a replacement would be 30 mins wait so we gave up. No replacement offered. But we enjoyed the baked cauliflower that also came with the lamb so that was plus. Still giving place 4 stars, service a 5 and ambience a 5 because overall was a surprise find and solid feed in small town jurien bay.

“So good we came back twice in one day!” Only in town for the night and thought we’d try this restaurant after reading the great reviews – and it did not disappoint! We stopped in for lunch. My partner had the chicken parmy with the chilli option and said it was one of the top 3 he’s ever had in WA. I had the pumpkin & sage tortellini – the most delicious pasta I’ve tasted in a restaurant, with presentation that was just beautiful. We loved it so much we came back for dinner and once again, it was exceptional. The pork belly and lamb racks were cooked to perfection, served in generous portions that were totally worth the price. For a family of 4 (2 adult meals, 2 kids’ meals and drinks) the bill was $150 – incredible value for the quality and quantity. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. To the chefs – you can really tell you love your job, because it shows in every dish. Please never stop doing what you do – you are amazing. Thank you, we will be back!

This used to be a pleasant tavern, now it is just a starkly lit cafeteria with a pizza franchise tacked on the side. No inside bar area / seating other than the dining room. The pork belly served was pure fat. Two of the three lumps had zero meat. The manager took it back to the chef, who didn't even try to defend it - I watched the manager just come back out of the kitchen and scrape the plate into the bin. My wife's beef cheeks were ok, so I ordered a pizza to replace the pork (as it was the quickest thing to cook and we might be able to eat some of our dinner at the same time). The base was just awful, more like a pitta bread - see photo. Staff were polite, but overall a really disappointing experience.

Arrived at 530pm hoping to have a quick nice meal after a long day travelling. We were maybe the 2nd table seated inside and there were a few customers outside.

Waitresses and table service was polite.

Unfortunately waited over an hour for ohr meals, and when we were asked if we wanted more drinks, the waitress was surprised when we asked how much longer the meals would be.

We then proceeded to watch tables that arrived and ordered after us have their meals delivered (including the same dishes we had ordered).

About 15 minutes later our meals emerged. My colleagues was fine (steak) and piping hot.

I had ordered the lamb rack. The lamb was barely warm and the vegetables were cold and soggy.

I asked the waitesss and it was sent back to kitchen with apologies and the promise of a fresh hot meal.

A few minutes later I am informed that the cold meal (which I had taken one bite of the lamb, broccoli and a piece of sweet potato to confirm nothing was warm on the plate) had been "reheated". However, while slightly less cold, the meal was still not hot, and inedible. As someone who spent a decade working in hospitality this was not only shocking with regard to the quality of service, but also alarming from a food safety standard.

We were not charged for the cold unedible meal (paid for everything else), but I ended up with no dinner after a very long day and an hour and half waiting in this noisy pub for nothing except apologies. It was also implied by who I assume is the manager that I was clearly lying that it wasn't hot when it was "reheated".

Suggest avoiding this kitchen until they learn to practice safe food preparation. Never have I heard of a restaurant serving cold plates back to a customer twice.

I'm glad I had a loaf of bread in my motel so I could have plain...

Food is absolutely amazing... 5⭐

Waitress Staff -5⭐

Unfortunately let down hugely with the customer service... The kitchen staff again are perfect.... The faces of the place though really does let the team down. After having a takeaway we decided to eat in as the food was perfect ... The main issues for our disappointing experience was our main waitress. She was a tall, brunette European lady in her late 20s early 30s.....

When all the food was ordered for our table (all orders within 4/6 mins of each other) After the main meals of chicken or steak, etc had arrived (for 25 of our guests) my wife, two kids, two friends, their two kids and myself where waiting approximately another 45 minutes for our meal. The 25 had already finished their meal before ours had even arrived. This led to my friend politely asking for an ETA for our food as the rest of our table was leaving as they had all finished. The tall European lady angrily suggest to "stop and allow me to speak"... When the order arrived approx 15 minutes later... The lady was again rude and very unprofessional. She threw a plate of garlic bread and cheese on the table and unfortunately for us the manner of this was simy unforgiveable.

I can imagine most of the staff are on holiday visa for regional work. However this doesn't justify the lack of empathy or respect to us as a customer. We have been to the restaurant for the last 4 years... Always having booked a table for atleast 20-30 guest. The booking was also disappointing as our "table" was split up to different corners of the out door area.

I would definitely grab a takeaway again. But non of our party will ever...

Visiting from the city, hubby & I stopped in to pick up a quick pizza as we had landed a rare kid free night and wanted an easy yet delicious dinner to eat with a movie!

Having heard good things from our local connect we headed in. They were busy. There were 3/4 people before us to order, took a while to take what we overheard to be simple orders.

Finally, our turn! Yay 😃

I stepped up to the counter and was bluntly told by the young lady serving to ‘go order yours at the bar (belonging to the restaurant next door, because as she put it) ‘I don’t HAVE TIME YOU SERVE YOU!’ (Erm.. hello customer service?!?!)

We headed over to join the throng of punters waiting to be served. 10 Minutes later (~20 minutes after we arrived and began waiting in the next cue) a very lovely and apologetic young man took our order. However no compensation (free garlic bread it side, complimentary drink while you wait) was offered by either staff member/venue.

We went to sit in some stool tables off to the side as were were not dressed for dining ( me doing a “when in Jurien” and wearing no shoes).

After 25 minutes my husband decided we might as well order a drink while we wait)

He waited 10 minutes for his order to be taken. In the bar staffs defence they were busy servicing not only their punters but the business next door...

We drank our drinks and about 10/15 minutes afterwards we finally got out pizza. We just ate it there as we were pretty ravenous!!

Pizza was very fresh.

Don’t get me started on the customer service the elderly couple who entered after...
