Chappy's Place — Restaurant in Kadina

We stopped here at random for lunch when in town on a Saturday, with most main street shops shutting at 12pm and Chappies stay open until 2pm. We tried chips, croissant, hot dogs, baguette and eggs Benedict, each serving was generous and even better incredibly delicious, I even have to add I reckon some of the best hot chips we've EVER had, we actually ordered a 2nd bowl after we were finished. Milkshakes, Iced drinks and hot drinks were reasonable and very good, even using good Lactose Free milk some of us need. It was a hot day. We were looking for an outside sheltered/shaded area that was dog friendly where we could sit down on proper chairs, not stools, and have a meal. Chappy’s place ticked all the boxes. It’s a small cafe with limited seating inside but plenty of outdoor seating. When we arrived the staff immediately brought us a menu and were very welcoming. We both had a warm chicken salad and small chips. The salad was plentiful, tasty and one of the best we’ve had and the chips were very crisp and fresh. Not as good as it used to be.. I normally used to go here for lunch or small coffee dates quite a lot but quality has slipped when it comes to food over the past year. They have a wide selection of foods which caters for anyone and everyone's tastebuds but some foods are a hit and miss and others are great.
