Had an wonderful time here. My friend and I had reservations and were greeted with a friendly front of house smile and given a table too close to a corner with a few others when there were a number of other free tables. THIS was the ONLY issue. If the restaurant was fully patroned I wouldn't have asked to move one table away and the rest of the evening went without a an major hitch. Table was set tastefully. Service from here on was attentive and friendly. A happy waitress came for our drinks and they were served as ordered. Then a young, friendly and possible less experienced waitress didn't know about a particular menu question. (remember peeps we all start our careers not knowing something) Soon resolved and our meals arrived with a welcomed WOW. Mine looked like a deconstructed taco with so many components I happily didn't know where to start!! It tasted A-MAZ-ING and I thoroughly recommend it. My initial reaction was that's not much but it was more than plenty. My companion had a most tender and tasty steak. Nothing was left on either plate and we enjoyed every mouthful. Read moreI feel as though there are many people on here writing bad reviews complaining on things like the ‘noise’ or the ‘young staff’ and forgetting that it is actually a fast food chain. Yes there are a few beebs here and there however if the noise is affecting you from eating your meal that much there is always the option to sit in the comfy benches outside and even get the food brought to your table! Pretty nifty for a fast food restaurant hey. The fact that people are complaining about the young staff is just petty. McDonald’s is a great opportunity for our future generation to gain the knowledge on customer service, food health and safety, dealing with money as well as saving for personal needs. The amount of people that you see come into the restaurant and verbally abuse different staff members is apawling especially concidering that they often come in with the the same age children as the person taking the order. Read moreToday I took the kids for a treat after school. While sitting in the drive thru I observed one of the employees sweeping the floor & then emptying the dust pan into the bin. Some of the rubbish was stuck in the dust pan so he used his hand to pull it out & push it into the bin. He then also itched (rubbed) his nose. Without washing his hand he grabbed a brown bag opened it up, grabbed a handful of serviettes & 2 large chips to put in the bag. At this point I asked him to come to the window & told him what I had seen. He apologised & said he forgot! He also said he would throw the chips out & the bag containing the serviettes. I asked to speak to the manager & he stated he was one. I then asked if that was the example he wanted his team to follow? He said he didn't & apologised again then went & washed his hands. I wonder how many times he has forgotten before? Really poor practise...
