Such a sweet little town. The popped into the Kabar County Bakehouse to see if we could buy a pie. I really enjoyed their steak and tomato pie. Nice chunks of steak and a tasty gravy. Pretty good pastry. Very reasonable price of $6. Pretty old building.

Friendly staff and decent food, but I was shocked at the final price. I bought a $4 drink, $6 pie, and a $4.80 sausage roll — which should have totaled $14.80. Instead, I was charged $15.30, and then an EFTPOS surcharge brought it up to $15.55. There were no signs or clear explanation about the extra charges, which left me feeling pretty blindsided. Wow! Called in for the first time today. Great service! Coffee, steak and pepper pie were spot on.

Lamingtons looked good so I tried one and was blown away with how fresh and delicious it was.
