Dôme Café - Manning — Restaurant in Karawara

Terrible service!!

I went out for breakfast with a small group of 4 of us this morning... I paid for our meals... 3 out of the 4 meals came out 20 mins later... The lady serving out the dishes then goes we are sorry we dont have any more of the meal that you ordered left...

Nothing was mentioned when i purchased the meal Nothing was mentioned in the 20 minute wait time...

So everyone im with has there meal... There was No sorry from herself or from Dome for the inconvience just "Would you like to choose something else" meanwhile everyone has there breakfast...

To me there is nothing worse than going out for a meal with a group and everyone has already eaten before you get your meal... Its just amateur...

If something was mentioned when i was at the counter or even just after i had paid there would be no issue, but to wait until everyones meals are ready then tell me That is just absolute Crap

I just asked for a refund a didnt bother eating there and definitely wont be...

We went here for breakfast and it was honestly a terrible experience. After waiting over 30 minutes, three of our meals came out with overcooked poached eggs (basically hard-boiled). When we raised it with staff, there was no apology just “did you want soft poached, we’ll get you new eggs.” On top of that, the bacon and toast were cold and had to be sent back.

When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told “we’re busy, you’ll have to wait for new ones to be made, sorry” again with no sincere apology. By the time the remade meals came out (another 15 minutes later), the rest of our table had already finished eating, and one of the meals was still wrong and had to be sent back again. To make things worse, my honeycomb golden rich had a hair in it.

The food quality was poor, the service dismissive, and the management unhelpful. What should have been a nice family breakfast turned into a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this...

The much anticipated Dome Manning has finally opened, and it’s living up to expectations. The space is bright and spacious, showcasing all the familiar trademarks of Dome from every angle. The spirit of the old Manning Library lingers, adding a touch of nostalgia.

The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and efficient, with plenty of staff ensuring a smooth experience. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available, making it versatile for any occasion. It’s also kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and offers ample parking on both sides.

Notably, this location stays open daily from 06:00 to 21:00, making it one of the few Domes with such extended hours—let’s hope it stays that way! Overall, a fantastic start. Highly recommend!

Side note: It is officially on Karawara suburb. I get that it is along Manning Road, but I would prefer to call it Dome Karawara. Don't shy away from its...
