IGA Local Grocer Manning — Local services in Manning

Utterly disappointed with their fresh packaged produce for number of times leading to write the review in hope of either change of their practice/care or informing other customers to take extra cautious when buying their packed fresh fruits/veg. This morning I purchased a pack of strawberries and a pack of raspberries. From the immediate look they looked fine and I regret I did not open the package to inspect it further. Both were rotten on the lower rows and had to go directly to the bin. Sadly this was not my first bad experience with this local IGA. A while ago same thing happened to their packed herbs (coriander). Lack of competition in the area makes them quite relaxed in terms of their care on the customers satisfaction. I would not recommend this place even when in need of an item after hours. Try IGA at Waterford plaza, a bit further but never offer...

This small but very local IGA has everything the bigger guys do & at really great prices. Family atmosphere, great staff - seems they are treated well as turnover is not very noticeable after 7 years of coming here on & off.
