Vietnamese Cafe & Pho — Restaurant in Katanning

The first time I came here I was overwhelmed wanting to eat everything on the menu. I asked a staff what his favourite dish was and I got an amazing combination stir fry.

I spent a week in town for work a month ago and then this week again back for a week of work. My lunch and dinner for the whole weeks are from here.

When I was in last night to get dinner they were out of wraps I was planning to get in advance for the next working day. They were so kind as to prepare me some fresh wraps for collection at opening time the following day so I could grab and go!

Look forward to when I can come back for work and spend a week having lunch and...

If I ever go back I'll be sure to take photos... I love bun bo hue (spicy beef and pork noodle soup) only problem is they always seem to forget the spicy and you basically end up with boiling hot water with a bit of something orange floating on top. it's flavourless and should be packed with flavour... they get 2 stars as some of their other dishes aren't too bad although some of these still lack the flavour. Also prices have gone up and you get less now than you did last year. I understand inflation but you normally pay more for the same amount of something not...

Very disappointed with the drop in quality after they changed the owner. The Vietnamese iced coffee was served without even stirring the powder, and the Oreo frappe was tasteless. When I gave feedback, the staff simply said it was because the person making the drinks was new—but basic steps like mixing should not be overlooked. The noodle soup was also bland and the portion is smaller than before. I hope the restaurant improves...
