Hidden Specialty Coffee — Restaurant in Kelmscott

I would have given a 5 if it wasn't for one of the young girls working there.. Yea I understand that it was busy but when there's hardly anywhere to sit and the girl behind the counter asks where your sitting and all the tables that were free are covered in dirty plates and then She rolls her eyes when you say there's no where to sit until you have to point at a dirty table and ask another waitress to come take the dirty plates away you get a bit annoyed. There was also no knives in the cutlery bucket and when we asked for one the waitress pointed to the empty bucket and walked off. The coffee was great we have been a few times and this was the first time for a meal I had the corn fritters which were pretty good. I have just moved here recently and would like a local coffee shop. I hope the staff are less rude the next time I come here. The young girls that work on the weekend don't seem to look like they want...

Well what can I say. It was a very negative and disheartening experience, they over charged me according to there current on display menu. The food was awful & tasteless and presentation was disgusting. Staff & owner have no interest whatsoever in the use of basic manners, politeness and courtesy. I was there as a single entity and the place was not very-busy. If you trade as a retail you need to make sure you are upfront and honest with the customers and also be aware of the consumer laws the regulate and govern the retail hospitality industry with in the state of WA and the country of Australia. There is just no excuses for misinformation that blatantly robs consumer of their had earned dollars. Give this place a miss. I shall be lodging a formal complain against the owner/s and the business. NB. I have to by default give one star, this should be 100...

Hidden Speciality Coffee is a really lovely relaxed little cafe. The coffee, and other beverages, are all really well made, the cappuccino being particularly good. They also have a great selection of food, sandwiches, pies, etc. in the cafe. So you can easily grab something to help you through the day in terms of a snack or a light meal. Cafe staff at Hidden Speciality Coffee are really friendly and very helpful. On this visit I was with a friend and his child, they automatically asked if the hot chocolate for his son needed to be warm rather than hot, showing great attention to service. Then when they brought the coffee and hot chocolate over it was all served with a smile and well wishes for a pleasant time.
