Unfortunately I cannot give a minus 1 star rating for this Kelmscott Stargate store. Firstly the store was not opened on time and I arrived at 7.50am. The opening hours on the door state it opens at 7.45am. The Indian woman signalled to me to wait another two minutes which I was not prepared to do while she put all the salads out, and I pointed to the opening hours sign on the door. Again she held up two fingers and disappeared. When she eventually opened the door she left me standing waiting at the counter while she continued to put the trays of salads out, keeping me waiting even longer. I gave her my order, she dropped the cookie on the ground that I included in my order and I told her I wanted another cookie. She charged me $9.95 when the previous day and on other occasions, for the exact same order, I paid $8.95. I questioned her as to why the order was $1.00 more than previously and she said it was cheaper on the other occasions because I had not ordered any salad with my sub. I explained that on this occasion I had also not ordered any salads and the order was identical. She continued to argue with me and I continued to ask why the exact order had suddenly increased $1.00. After continuing to disagree with me, saying on those previous occasions she had not charged me the full price “out of the goodness of her heart”. I told her I would pay $8.95 and the $1.00 was better in my pocket than Subways. She tried to stare me down and I was ready to leave the store without my subway which was for my Grandchild's lunch. She finally rang up $8.95 and slammed my change down on the counter. I will NEVER go back to that store. The Indian woman who served me needs to be urgently trained in customer service. Read moreOn Sunday 3rd April my carer bought two Footlong toasted Rolls the first with Ham and salad the second with Southern Chicken and salad Since consuming both rolls I have been ill with food poisioning. I am disabled and struggle enough with simple daily tasks and to use the bathroom is especially differcult Ive had constant diarrhea,nausa and all the other non pleasantries that accompany food poisioning. Someone has been very careless now I'm paying the price On the day in question I had two crumpets at 9am and nothing further until 5pmish when I ate the rolls. I have to say the preperation of the rolls in my opinion from this store is Sub standard. The look is sloppy with the filling falling out before the Sub is fully opened. The rolls soggy (I live less than 500 metres away and stinggy filling especially the cheese and meat I usually buy from Maddington whom in my opinion are generous and Subway experts having eatern many Subs around the world Ive now been left ill. This is day three with little relief A note to the owner you need to lift the standards in your store. Although customer service has been non existent at this shop from the very beginning , after today we will not return and use the school canteen service again. Not only did the Indian woman who opened the store, opened passed business hours, she then attempted to overcharge my mother who queried the price as we ordered the same sub everyday. She used a poor excuse to do with no salads being put on my little boys pizza sub. If you’re disabled, elderly or a carer and want to be taken financially advantage of, then this is the store for you! If you want honesty, hygiene, and customer service then please find an alternative shop. I would rather us starve than see my precious mother being treated so badly when simply ordering her grandsons lunch for him.
