I'd previously already written a review from a year ago so had to delete to write today's. First up, I automatically knew these guys were going to make great fish & chips. They looked just like the owners of Jeddy's fish & chips in Humpty doo, NT where I'm from, who are also unbeatable. To top it off, the tracklist was spot on - No more tears era Ozzy. We stayed next doors the Barra Shack and thought we'd give it a go as we were too lazy to cook ourselves. My companion had the hamburger and felt it was fulfilling and satisfying without the bells and whistles of a $12 hamburger. I had the Barra burger (around $14), which was absolutely fantastic. The serving was very generous with 2 barra pattys cooked to perfection plus the things you'd normally expect in the burger. We shared large chips and had a dim sim each. EDIT: Tried this place again now that it is under new ownership and the difference has been night and day. Chips were cooked well, fish was delicious. Would definetely recommend if you are having a fish and chips craving.
