We have been a local customer here since the previous long term proprieters. Bought an early takeaway lunch on a Wed. in Dec 24. Closed Tues's. The boss was on duty himself. Special Fried Rice always in our orders. A 1st for us - it was "stale" - might be leftovers from Monday? Recently bought takeaway dinner - Jan 25 - A rough written note was stuck on the bench - stating "refund policy..... " obviously problems with complaints. A new to me " blonde woman" took my order. Karen was busy. The note prompted me to mention the last fried rice - nothing more. Immediately got the "bad" attitude, suggesting I do not know what I was on about. NB: I am of Chinese heritage, with a relative owning a high end Chinese Seafood Restaurant (Sydney - we are ex Sydney). It is our cuisine. I stated to this woman - "I know what stale is". If you browse previous reviews - bad fried rice is mentioned several times. We have only just returned 12 mths ago after staying away for a while due to concerns over decor - since updated. Never had any issue re: food in the past - normally quite good for a regional restaurant. The dumb woman then flicked the order over the counter with "face". An apology would have been good enough! This woman should either stay in the kitchen, learn what "PR means" or go somewhere else. The attitude prompted our review. We are local business owners - signed off by...

Best chinese in kurri we tried all of them a few times when we moved to town before settling on pearl river as our regular go to ...does nice king prawn cutlets and a good omelette his garlic king prawns and the szechwan is good too .......do a phone order half an hour before you want the food and be prepared to wait for it they are usually busy so there will be others in line before you ...a busy place is usually a good sign the foods good ....we usually order 4 mains rice and some prawns for 4 people and theres always some left over for lunch the next day and we rarely spend more than 80 bucks so its good value for fresh...

Check that what you paid for is what you get with take away. Ordered King Prawn Curry Prawns and Rice ,got normal small Prawns , rang up when I got home and lady said she would take a note of it and would work it out next order which was a week later . Week later she denied this conversation , and owner dismissed my claim ,sorry to say but lady is a fibber as she charged for what I wanted but only wrote what I got on order . There are better places around , I will never go there again as I was virtually told...
