How utterly wonderful that this glorious iconic old historical Hunter pub (designed by the same architect as Qirkz in the Hunter, The Neath, and other classic local watering holes) has been given this incredible new lease on life!! brilliant renovation - comfortable, up-market but not up-itself! great thoughtful range of beers (and wines) and icy-cold as a beer should be! really friendly warm down-to-earth staff throughout the building! the food - wow!!! Best burgers we've had in a looong time, premium ingredients, salmon dish is outstanding, kids meals also great! Thought and talent has gone into this menu - and it was executed perfectly on both our visits!

Heartily and enthusiastically recommended, and most heartfelt congratulations on nailing every aspect of...

Well it’s been like 1 year and 6months plus since I stepped into the kurri hotel and it’s absolutely amazing and beautiful relaxing place much different to the ruff pub that all people in kurri new it was staff great and most of all the beer taste good and cold to the cocktails are great also .

Now I haven’t tried the food yet but once I have I let you all know how good it is hope it’s amazing and delicious as the beer and cocktails so stay tuned for second review.

But also don’t just read it here drop in for a cold one and see for yourself and see what you think...

Amazing specials – the Monday night Gyros for $16 is an absolute bargain, and the flavour is next level.

But my highlight? The 400g ribeye. Cooked medium-rare, served with soft, creamy mash and perfectly fried greens – unbelievably tasty.

Even though it’s got that gentrified pub feel with a gastro menu and a great drinks selection, it still holds onto its country pub charm.

The real test? I left my ribeye sitting on the table while I ducked out for a quick vodka shot… came back and my meal was untouched. That says it all – great food, great...

Well it’s been a long time coming to go back to this pub 30 odd years. Wow it great to see how nice it looks after renovations. Well done to the owners the place looks amazing and the food was excellent it was very busy on Mother’s Day but it was worth the wait. To all the staff at this great old pub keep up the good work. I did forget to take some photos of our meals so I will have to go back.
