Bill's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Leanyer

Went for Dinner last night, Ordered two Kids meals and 2 entrees before 7pm. At 7.40pm we had still not received our main meals. People who entered this place 15 to 20 mins after we ordered, received their meals within 15mins of ordering. After 40 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund. I was there told by the bar person who was a very nice man that he would get the manager. Once the Female Manager came out 5 minutes later she had an attitude and couldn't understand why waiting 40 minutes for my dinner wasn't acceptable? Her posturing from behind the bar was not how you are supposed to treat customers who have a valid complaint. All she offered was she would put the food in a takeaway container and then I can leave. What an absolute hidden Gem. I was put off from this place for a long time-due to its location and surrounding venues. However our friend recommended that we come as they do the best steak. What can i say i was pleasantly surprised, the place had a very close community vibe, staff were extremely welcoming from the moment we walked into the door. Placed our order and our food came out like 10 mins later. Food was perfect, tasty, cooked to our preferences and most importantly everything was hot and fresh. I am gutted we are leaving the territory next week and i have only just discovered this place. I absolutely would have made this my local ages ago. Absolutely highly recommend this...

Waited 45 mins for our meals. We booked for 6pm... were the third table to put our order in. Watched other tables who came in AFTER us get their meals. Asked the waitress to check whether or meals were in the system. She came back to tell us " they're coming now". Another 10 mins passed and you guessed it, other tables got their food. Asked the manager to check... to be told"they're on their way". Two meals came out, we waited some more. Then another two meals came out and were incorrect. The food was OK.
