Tonight I thought I would treat my family to Chinese and gave chan's a go. We recieved a menu in the mail stated under new management. Thought I would give a new business a go. Couldn't get through on the phone so made an online order. What an absolute mistake that was. Orded at 6.15 was told pick up 7.30, went in twice to be told not ready to come back 10- 15 minutes, finally ready at 8.20pm. My son picked it up we spent $ 150.00. Management didn't offer an apology or even a free bag of prawn chips gave us vouchers.(as if Im going back) The poor staff were run off their feet doing the best they could, while owners were running around after their kids out the back of the shop. Got it home absolutely disgusting. Mongolian beef was gross taste like curry, honey chicken had no honey. Fried rice taste as if it had been burnt. SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE. Don't go to...
Read moreLove my once a fortnight splurge at Chan's, it's the kind of Chinese food i've always found to be my sought after fare. Most importantly they have pick-up windows on their Menu portal, that tells you its ready. No hanging around like a drug dealer when the demand is high for their delightful delicacies. Never had a feed go bad on me from there, unlike other local businesses, to be honest the day old dishes are even more tasty after 12 further hours of marinating in their juices. Over my twenty years as a customer (and they've changed staff/owners?, more than once). I've always found a familiar feed. Chan's you just can't go wrong, shame they (likeveryone else) has had to push the price up. I would like to have it more than once a fortnight, but maybe that's more about my salary, than what they need to...
