This place reminds me of episode 3 of Colin Fassnidges âKitchen Nightmares.â It was quite an experience which left us with a âwhat in the world is going on hereâ feeling. The only other customers were elderly locals who know no different from their âusual Sunday get-together.â 4 staff behind the counter the entire time we were in the cafe, doing not much at all but standing around talking while we had to go up and order our meals and then collect our own coffees, in takeaway cups, even though we were eating in and cups and saucers right there with the coffee machine. Food was cold and had an odd âdirtyâ smell. Our âwaitressâ bringing the food out was a child no older that 10-12yrs who was almost dropping our food on the table, whilst not only refusing to make any eye contact but actually looking in a completely different direction throughout giving us our order. Meanwhile still same 4 girls standing behind the counter, chatting away amongst each other.
Appearance of the place doesnât matter too much to us however it didnât make much sense regardless. Many different themes going on all at once with bathroom caddyâs as sugar sachet holders. Toilet/bathroom was very ordinary too.
So much going on, or not even going on. Too much to even write. They should probably put in an application for Kitchen Nightmares, if theyâd like to be...
Read moreGreat service, but quality of food didnât meet expectations at all. 4,7 ranking is way to high for that coffee shop.
The chai latte was great. There were also different types of milk available.
But all the meals, weâve ordered for breakfast were very basic.
French toast was made out of bread with raisins, which is fine but should be mentioned in the menue. Unfortunately it was quite burned and didnât include any fruits. Placement could be done with a lot more love, for example by use of organic maple syrup and adding some nuts and crumbles on top of the ice cream. Or using fruits instead of ice cream.
For the Eggs Benedict and the other big breakfast meal some more greens could be used to make it look more appealing. The grilled tomato and the mushrooms were very good. Quality of bacon was quite questionable. The chosen bread was a little bit cheap, so in total taste was good but the price doesnât meet the expectation or the current standard of a good coffee shop with such a high google ranking.
We donât care about the location if the quaility is good. In total thereâs room for...
Read moreExcellent place for breakfast and a coffee. The young lady was friendly, helpful and delivered to me great food and coffee. The cafe was clean, warm and welcoming so what more could you ask for? Highly recommend the service, food and of course the coffee. Visited again today (29/5/24) and super impressed with service, cleanliness, value and staff so friendly and welcoming. They offerred me a seniors discount without any propmpting. How good is that? Bacon and eggs on toast plus a mug full of cuppachino. What a better way to spend in Leongatha while my car was being...
