FU Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Leopold

The Faulty Towers of Leopold!!! Above average food and that's where the positives end. We have been there on multiple occasions and the only consistent thing is that the service is terrible, with food arriving not as ordered and to the wrong persons. They serve your entrees with your mains arriving usually 1-2 minutes later even when if you mentioned please wait for us to finish our entrees before bringing out the mains. Then when the mains arrived, and yes the orders were totally wrong as well as being sent to the wrong person. They will do everything they can to ensure you leave by 8:30pm at the latest.. Including leaving front doors open, air-conditioning was turn off and sitting around.... To top this unique experience, the staff were arguing lots amongst themselves so loudly you couldn't talk at your table. To say it was a bad experience would be an understatement....we will never go back again nor recommend this place. So if you're looking for a nice Chinese restaurant to go to in Leopold, give this one a miss (FU Chinese Restaurant). Manuel at faulty towers provides a 5 star experience compared to FU Chinese...

Just gotten home after another incredible feed at FU Chinese, after not having been for a while (ex regular) I returned after finding it's one of the few places on the Bellarine Peninsula that serves Mapo Tofu.

Let me tell you even a few years since I last dined at FU the quality is still top tier. The entrees, absolutely delicious including the roast pork and salt and pepper chicken wings (Recommended by waitress) , and fast to arrive.

As for mains the mapo tofu and crispy skin duck were amazing. Honestly much bigger than we were expecting and very good. The duck meat fried rice was also sensational and makes other fried rices look bland in comparison. We will be adding FU back to our roster and probably going there instead of our usual Chinese place from now on. You can't beat fast service, delicious food and good value imo. :) :3

(Also the person the referenced faulty towers go back to your nursing...

All I asked was that if I could have soup, a bit more of it, in a bigger bowl. So standard bowl costs around $4.3. I would have paid for a bigger bowl. Instead I carried 3 smaller bowls which are your standard sizes. So couldnt you have transferred 3 bowl of soups in a bigger container/bowl?

Regardless, you have all the right to tell me no because of xyz.... reasons. But behave normally not rudely. After all, why come if you don't have the courtesy ? I have ordered for the past 1 year at your place. The staff members were always pleasant to deal with until yesterday.. Very disappointed. Great food but yesterday did it for me.

Rude staff... just asked if you could put soup in a bigger bowl and just got told in a snapoy manner - NO. Never...
