It's the worst eatery in brisbane. Went in at 9.15pm, waited for 5 minutes and totally got ignored like I was invisible. The lady with glasses totally looked uninterested in working there and just pack food and screaming for fries, and the Australian lady preferred to just look after driving thrus. After 5 min, the Australian lady came to the counter.instead of serving, she decided to count the coins in her hand. Took her a good minute to count it but she can't make our what she's counting. Called the glasses lady over and 2 of them counted together. After counting, Australian lady went back to drive thru and glasses lady went back to packing food. We waited another 5min before glasses lady came to serve us. She looked totally uninterested and its as if my fam and I are ruining her night. While ordering, Australian lady came to the counter to key in an order. We had to pause while she's keying the order in. After we order and while paying, Australian lady came back to do another keyin. You have 2 ordering systems. How hard is it to sign in to key in an order? There aren't many people there ordering. My family and I are the only one ordering. The staff's attitude at work reflected in the food. Burgers are just so so and fries were cold when we receive them. My family and i are regulars at Beenleigh. We always taste the char grilled flavour of the patties. I ordered chocolate milkshake and it did not arrive. So have to go up to counter to ask.
Comparing to the Beenleigh store this one is just bad. In terms both services and food. This is our 5th time here on a friday night and we always walk in happy and come out frustrated. My wife came more to buy food for the kids as we play badminton every Friday night. According to her its a regular occurrence. Now she rather buy mccas for the kids even if they want carl. The staffs at the front counter clearly lacked the right attitude and needs to be trained. We have given them 5 chances and we shall never return again. If you want good carl jr, just go to another store and only choose this one if you really do not...
Read moreAnother store in the Carl's jnr roll out and as good as the earlier stores . I've been about stores catering and retail fitout for 3 decades or more and probably nothing as complete and fresh and correctly balanced as Carl's jnr entry into Australia has previously been obvious to me. This roll out is a smooth and successful effort that does not require any tweaking or adjustments and is working The day time hungry tradies arrive in droves and the added price platform not even questioned as the offer is superior to opposition outlets both chicken and beef. It's obvious a huge effort has been taken prior to commencing the roll out by people who know the game and where they put their stores is very obvious .qlcating stores in soft spots as well as high profile positions show a widely placed goal set that limits Carl's jnr to no precise set of parameters . I dined here in a morning and the site is spotless . Meticulously cleaned sanitized and washed is obvious without having to look too hard . As a chain I note the trading hours are limited to a more restaurant biased hours and to be commended . The 24 hour fast food stores end up marginal at best as resourses are stretched to breaking point and heavily reliant to foreign hospitality course operators for strengthening their abilities Carl's jnr face life as a restaurant not a burger joint focused on ##$ per minute . Woodridge is new it's good it's going to get better too as skilled staff improve even more . Again 5 stars to a bright spot on Australias dining options and the managment must be ecstatic with progress that's got more elements than luck or being in the right spot at the right time . The effort is obvious in the dining...
Read moreSo I ordered a double Angus burger and got a double western burger. About a quarter or third of the way through the burger realised there's no salad or tomato and instead got onion rings.. chips were very good quality, rustic style with skins on, refill drink station is great, but when your paying $15+ for a burger you expect to get the one you order. Onion rings were terrible in the burger, pulled them out. So what should of been a double Angus burger with lettuce and tomato ended up being a basic double cheeseburger. On top of that got asked to move inside from the outside dining area as it was closed for cleaning. Even though the cleaning had already been done. And by closed just a couple of chairs across access to the area, no sign no locked door. Overall the food was good but it's the little things that matter.. like getting what you ordered for starters. And being comfortable where you eat.. was crowded inside and would of much preferred to sit and eat outside. This could of been a 4 or 5 star but in the end lucky to get a 3star on the merit of refillable...
