Sunday 19/11/2023 9:00am - Barista was shouting at her colleague (in training) embarrassing her infront of all the customers she also had a potty mouth swearing and dropping the f word infront of all customers and even infront of children. We experienced disgusting behaviour from the barista who was kind to everyone else but my husband and I (i felt like it was racism). The barista was calling out the mudslide and a toastie and no one was coming up to collect it. I came up to ask if that was ours as we also ordered a mudslide and a toastie but we also had other items to collect. She yelled at me asking why I came up to collect an order which had the same items that i ordered but it wasnt mine. She screamed at me saying this is a completely different order obviously because she didnt call out my other items too. This is very confusing as she has been calling out drinks of others who also had more items coming. We simply came up to ask if it was ours and did not need to be yelled at for a simple mistake. She glared her eyes at me and told me to step aside. Was it so wrong of us to ask if it was ours as no one was coming up to collect it? She finally called out one of our drinks which was the mudslide (ON ITS OWN) ??? I thought she said she would call them all out together. She was very rude to us, never apologised. I was greeted by a slow-moving assistanceand she told me to wait so that she can slowly finish her orders at hand, which I patiently waited for her so I can place my order. But after presenting the offer from the app, she was completely clueless about the offer and told me to wait for other staff to come back from the bathroom. 5 Minutes later, finally that staff came check out the app and explained with a diva attitude that the shop itself doesn't have a QR code scanner to scan my membership app. and kept saying there is nothing much they can do.... so I left 25 minutes later without a coffee. So this shop has been opened for 2 months and you still don't have proper tools to trade ??? Your staff doesn't have proper training on the company offer ??? Read moreMy partner bought a mocha mudslide today via the drive through and not only was he given the wrong drink he also got given a cup full of shards of plastic. He only realised it was plastic after a few mouth fulls and a piece got stuck in his throat and he coughed it up. He brought the drink home and we tipped it into a strainer while filming the experience and among the large pieces is lots of tiny pieces I know he would have consumed without knowing as well! See photo attached. There is no way to get in contact with this store so we are driving out there to let them know so other customers don’t have the same experience. This is absolutely appalling! The coffee was intended for me and I’m 20 weeks pregnant. I can only imagine the repercussions if I’d consumed the drink also.
