At approximately 0215 this morning we went through drive thru to be told they were not serving food due to having problems with their computer system and to come back in 15mins. We then reversed and drove to Caltex driveway next door and they did much of a variety of hot foods. We then looked back across at macdonald's drive through and saw another car driving through drive thru and decided to go back and managed to order. We drove through to wait for our food and once received one of the passengers advised the fries in her order were not hot and fresh. I then asked worker if we could get another fresh batch of fries due to them not being fresh and hot she argued repetitively that she had just got it out of fryer and said they were fresh but we kept telling her that they weren't. I was not leaving until we got a fresh batch of fries and told worker so she decided to finally cook us a new batch and was asking if we did not want salt on fries. We said no dont worry about salt as she looked like she couldn't be bothered getting fries at all. The worker was so rude and unprofessional and instead of just listening to customer and rectified problem we could just leave and try and enjoy our meal. Once worker came back with fries I told her we were not happy with the way she spoke to us and by the time we finally got our fries we had lost our appetite after waiting another 7mins and yet she still had a bad attitude. So I asked for name but refused to give it and then I asked to speak to her manager she ignored us and shut the window. This was a very bad experience and especially being hungry in the early hours of the morning all we wanted was a decent hot meal but drove unhappy. I would not want to experience something like this again and will be going into macdonald's to see manager to...
Read moreUpdate: Still terrible. Waited 30 minutes for a walk in order, 2 Quarter Pounder meals with milkshakes. Person at the teller accidentally turned the machine off while I was waiting and broke down crying, a customer went behind the counter to console them because no one else came out to help them or replace them so they could have a break.
Hands down, easily the worst Maccas I have been to in QLD. I either don’t get all my order, get the wrong order completely, or wait extended times for my order, or a combination of everything.
The shortest time it has taken me to get in and out of the drive thru was around 6 minutes and I was the only one in the queue and I ordered a coffee. The longest was 25 minutes waiting in the parking bay with a 1yo and 3yo, so I couldn’t just duck in to check if they had forgotten or not.
There seems to be a fascination with getting cars to move up closer to the second service window, even when there is a car already at the second service window and there is physically no space to fit three cars between the first service window and the second. When I pointed out I couldn’t fit and asked if they just wanted me to move to the parking bay I was met with an eye roll and a “whatever, it’s full”.
I’m not sure if it’s a management issue or if management need to move on some dead wood, but reading other reviews I’m not alone in...

Good food and staff. Consistently intolerable service. By far the worst of any maccas I've been to. I've been at least half a dozen times in the last couple of months and always get excruciatingly slow service. Incorrect food also seems to be an issue (which wouldn't help speed of service). What's worst is that all the staff seem switched on, motivated, and very pleasant. So its either an understaffing issue, or lack of well trained duty managers / good systems. The store has lots of potential. Seems to be busy, Food is great when you get it, I think a little investment in fixing the service problems would pay off big time! This is now my local maccas, I want it to succeed. I genuinely think some investigation into how other stores operate would go a long way. Coorparoo store is the gold standard of the ones I've been to, but even the more local Springwood and Bryants Rd stores are night and day better when it comes to service.
Honestly I live in Meadowbrook yet sometimes choose to go all the way to the Springwood store rather than this one due to the service..
One issue in particular I've noticed is an over prioritization of drive through. Sometimes you go 5 mins without anyone even fronting...
