This place has the best Daal Makhani I've tasted so far. Its so delicious. And it was complimentary. Yes, FREE with my order! I went on a Wednesday evening and there was a special deal of buy 2 curries and get a 3rd free. I ordered Aloo Gobi, Kadhai Paneer, Daal Makhani and Butter Naan. Kadhai Paneer that I've tried so far in all different restaurants here in brisbane is hard to get just right. Milan did really well with the flavours and but didn't quite hit the mark. Still delicious though. The butter naan was actually the real deal. It's made properly with butter mixed between the bread layers before cooking. Other places serve a regular naan with butter on top. Aloo Gobi was tender and flavourful but the daal curry was the best. Such great flavours, I'd drive all the way back here to eat it again and again. Overall ambience of the restaurant was well presented and staff were friendly, attentive and approachable. Thanks!

Here’s a review based on your experience: Review for Milan Restaurant I recently visited Milan and had a disappointing experience. I ordered Salted Lassi, Mango Lassi, Paneer Masala, Plain Naan, and Garlic Naan, but unfortunately, none of the items met my expectations. The Salted Lassi lacked flavor, and the Mango Lassi was overly sweet and not fresh. The Paneer Masala had a bland taste with an unbalanced spice level, and the paneer itself was not soft. Both the Plain Naan and Garlic Naan were not fresh, feeling more chewy than soft. Overall, the food quality was poor, and I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience. The main staff boy was very rude. Waste of money..

The thing that attracted me to try food at Milan was their ambiance. I really liked the color combinations of the interior and vibe of the place. If you want to go on a date and want to have Indian food, this is the perfect spot. Even the food there was better than other Indian restaurants near my place. As I am a paneer lover, the texture of paneer here was meeting my taste more than other restaurants.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant recently. I had ordered Paneer 65 for my wife (who is vegetarian), but was mistakenly given Chicken 65 instead. Unfortunately, we only realized this after reaching home, when my wife took a bite and immediately felt something was off. She was quite upset upon realizing it was chicken, as she strictly avoids non-veg food.

I drove all the way back to the restaurant to explain the issue. The staff did apologize and swapped it for Paneer 65, but I felt there was a lack of genuine acknowledgment or courtesy for the inconvenience caused. I had to spend extra time and fuel just to correct a mistake on their end.

Additionally, I ordered a Garlic Naan during the second visit and was charged for it. While I understand the charge, I would have appreciated a small gesture of goodwill, considering the inconvenience I had already faced. Also, the original Chicken 65 we brought back wasn't even given back to us — which made me wonder if it was thrown away or worse, reused.

Overall, the service left me feeling undervalued as a customer. A simple mistake can be understandable, but how it's handled matters the most — and in this case, I felt the empathy and customer care...

I went to Milan Indian Restaurant with my family on last Saturday, even though Saturday is a quite busy as per hospitality standards but food service was quick and the food was delicious, The food we ordered was RoganJosh - Excellent Gravy, Juicy Meat and not overpowered with Spices, throughly Enjoyed Dal Makhni - Very nicely blended with mild spices (I like it Spicy to asked chef to make it spicy) Butter Chicken - The Most Authentic Butter Chicken, I have ever had in last 13 years in Australia. THe Butter chicken sauce was actual sauce not made with Tomato Paste. Kadai Paneer - Fresh Paneer with Just right blend of Spices.. Assorted Indian Bread Basket - Nice, hot, Crispy Bread fresh from Oven. Thank you for a Great Evening to all the Service Staff and Chefs. Will...
