A nice place for a trip down to the old age not too big so good for young ones and people who can't work far.

Gallery was nice selection of art and some are for sale plus they occasionally have the artist of the painting and art work on site. Today we meet Christine Cooper in the gallery a informative lady about the other Art pieces around the gallery.

The gallery is free admission and access to the cafe.

Nice cafe on site with really good prices for drinks and food.

Also this cafe is a separate section to the museum so you can just go in to have coffee or a good feed and look over the pond and green area.

On top of the administration price it a reasonable price day out. With function room on site as well as on site staff that demonstrate certain areas this place is a good idea for school or daycare organization to take advantage of for school excursions. With on site restores as well, there is going to be some new item of history coming soon. Thanks...

Just off the motorway at Beenleigh it’s tucked in opposite Mitre 10. It cost $4 a person and then extra for jumping castle, pony rides or petting zoo. There was heaps to see and do for the kids or those who are historically inclined. They have a variety of demos to enjoy throughout the day which are well run by the staff. There’s also a coffee shop / cafe available. The images will give you a feel for what your money gets you but for $16 for a family of 4 it was a great morning and early arvo out. Not much parking so you have to park on the road. Jumping castle is small but there’s heaps of animals in the small...

This was a lovely colonial museum with a number of interesting displays. We definitely enjoyed talking to the cooper who is now on site, and learning about this craft/trade, and the history, not just locally but worldwide. I enjoyed the audio visual components that were part of some of the displays. There was a great collection of emerging technology in the communication and typewriter/computer area. Fascinating to see how massive some things were, and it brings back some memories too!

We had a very pleasant walk around the grounds, unhurried, and enjoyed a substantial morning tea on the shaded verandah by the...

While a large village with big displays not at all set up for disability access. Taking a person with a walker was challenging with several places not able to access. Gravel car park and even entry where you pay with steps and inaccessible. Toilet signs pointed to toilets then had to work out how to go around to find access. Place could be so much better with new paths and access. I am saying this compared to Cleveland or Beaudesert both with superior access. In fairness Beenleigh is by far largest.
