I have been coming to Sunrise @ Lyndoch, from Adelaide...for Years Now! Great drive there & Exceptional when you arrive!

What can I say except...I Absolutely LOVE this place!

The food is ALWAYS Amazingly Yummy! The Girls @ the counter are always Very Polite, Cheerful & Helpful!

You can choose to eat Indoors with that Gorgeous Roaring Fire, to warm ya bones in this chilly weather...while you wait & then that Same roaring fire...entices you to stay inside to eat! Very Pleasant atmosphere OR Outdoors under cover, surrounded by the Gorgeous views of Lyndochs main road!

I have dined both Indoors & Outdoors here...Both were a Very Pleasant Experience! Indoors is Quiet, Warm & a has quiet buzz of talking & atmospheric sounds along with Beautiful Bakery Smells. Outdoors you have the Beautiful fresh air, the lovely park across the road to look at while you eat and the cheeky lil birds asking for crumbs (to which I always Oblige 🫣)

I normally eat here...and then take a dozen pastries home with me for my Adult Children 🙃

To the Staff at Sunrise/ Lyndoch Bakery...

Thankyou for All the Amazing muncheez!

Please...Don't Ever Change!!! I Absolutely LOVE the place the way it Is.

It is Definitely worth the 45minute drive (sometimes I speed a qee bit to get here)...mouth watering in anticipation...the Whole way!!

This place NEVER...

This bakery is huge with lots of seating and a German theme to the decor. However the customer service is ridiculously bad. All we ordered was a hot dog with the lot and a chicken roll. Surely very simple things to make. However, after arriving there at 12.15pm we were not served until 1.50pm! At 1.15pm we asked if it would be much longer and the girl told us 10 minutes max. However it was 20 minutes later before they brought out the hot dog and then another 15 minutes before they finally brought the chicken roll. They did not even bring a serviette or cutlery, you have to go and do all that yourself. To make matters worse, the hot dog with the lot was very poor. The onion was raw and not cooked, the cheese was just a cheese slice and they forgot the mustard so it was completely dry. The chicken on the chicken roll was not very good either. Definitely not going to repeat this experience again. To take that long to make such simple meals is absolutely ridiculous. The toilets are also in bad condition. The men's toilet didn't even have soap. Only good for takeaway since they seem to be a lot quicker with...

My friend and I visited here on Tuesday for morning tea. I hadn’t been for a little while and was quite surprised to see they now had those beepers to indicate when your food and drinks were ready. No more table service. I’m not that great on my feet nowadays and was quite disappointed as this was a nice feature that was a point of difference. The seating really needs a good clean and needs more cushioning. Hasn’t been updated in 20years+ but still has a quirky charm about it. 3 size options of coffee were available. We chose the middle mug size option which were of very good value and served in nice big mugs. We shared a nice piece of fresh carrot cake followed by a shared pot of tea. I buy things from here on occasion and every time the products are always very fresh. Their made up lunch rolls always have a generous amount of fillings and are always so...

Great bakery, which has a good range to choose from. The dining area is on the dark side but that creates atmosphere, right? 😏 I do like the old German theme which is still present from the last tenant which was a German bakehouse restaurant. So there is plenty of seating. I'm not a fan of kitchener buns but after having one from here I am a huge fan. It was delectable. I ate it with knife and fork as it is the castor sugar coating which turns me off. The cream inside is delicious! The rest of the baked goods is good too. Highly recommend and so glad it is near home!

This is one of the best bakery's I've been to. The 4 of us arrived a little later than we wanted and discovered we missed out on a few variety of pastries, but we all still found something we liked. The service was very friendly and they went out of they're way to help. The food was beautifully made and tasted awesome. We had 2 coffees and 2 cups of tea, also awesome. It's a huge seating area inside and outside is under cover. Atmosphere was very warm and had a country feel. Can wait to come back.
