Rose's Cafe — Restaurant in Macksville

This is a lovely place to visit, as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a fabulous smell of nice food and a welcoming sound of people chatting together, they have a wide variety of food on offer to order and an ice cream bar, which I appreciated because you don't see that around much anymore, they also had soft serve ice-cream options and a decent menu for them such as sundaes etc. The location also could not be better, such a lovely spot, the shop overlooks the river just separated by a small road that isn't too busy, just a 20 m walk and your on the river bank that has many sitting spots to enjoy the food, they also have in shop...

I had a lovely visit. Kids had an ice-cream I had peppermint tea. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Bit of a 60 Retro feel. Big black and white checked tiles on the floor and cute gingham fabric tablecloths. They have an all day breakfast but unfortunately I didn't have time. Will definitely make an effort to come back again.

Roses Cafe is the quintessial country cafe. A huge variety of local fresh food on offer. An opportunity to take it to away and sit by the Nambucca River opposite or eat at the cute tables inside. My Salad sandwich was so delicious. But the menu had the most wonderful variety. Quiche,Fish and chips and so much more our grandies had hot dogs, my daughter one of the many focaccia choices, there were Hamburgers of every variety including top of the range with the lot just $13.
