Stopped in Maclean on way back to Brisbane. Needed food and drink. The coffees were fabulous. We got a chunky steak and curried chicken pies and potato sausage roll. They were full of meat and flavour. They also had a good selection of sweets too. Well worth the detour off the highway. Staff were super friendly. Highly recommended. 5 star service and quality. Try the chicken veg and sweet potato topper, lamb rosemary and garlic, and my absolute favourite of all time, the corned meat with white sauce and potato pie. Tried their cakes and tarts and they were delicious. Warm service by the folks that are running this bakery and was always welcomed with a smile.
