Mr Pizza Maffra — Restaurant in Maffra

I got an Italian with no anchovies Friday night, it was perfect. So I got it again on Saturday and it was perfect again.

Was really refreshing being served by the lady with a headband, she seemed like she really wanted to be there and provide a warm service, which is something I see less and less in other businesses, makes waiting with 12 other customers with to much deodorant or none at all far more bearable.

The second night I ordered a little later and a lovely woman with glasses served me as was just as delightful.

They seem to suffer the same "problem" as the sale shop which is extremely busy peak hours... When I ordered at about 6 on Friday I waited almost 45 minutes (told 30) however on Saturday when I ordered at 7 I was told only 20 and it was being pulled out of the oven at about 7:20

I think I'll be ordering later going forward as it seems I can plan around that better 🙂

If I could offer a point of feedback it would be this... Outdoor seating like Sale, that way in those peak hours where we have a dozen people waiting we don't have to be packed in like a cattle...

As a local guide and customer of Mr Pizza, I have mixed feelings about this review. Walking into the store, theres a kind culture between the staff with relevance to serving customers and taking orders, but also a lot of noise (Loud Ovens). When it comes to service, calling them is a lot easier, as the website is difficult to use, its a 50 50 that the order is right. When using delivery expect a wait time of 1hr - 3hrs. Another thing is the bases they use. They use frozen bases and different toppings, compared to how they used to make their pizzas, their pizzas used to be a lot better before the rennovations. Lastly price, the cost of 2 pizzas can be about $25, with todays rate of currency, thats high, but not that high, overall, a good business, but used to be soooo much better. Thankyou...

Always expect your order at least 1 - 2 hours for a delivery time (ordered through Menulog). Have ordered 4 times now and it’s always the same. This time ordered @ 5pm received just after 7pm. First time I ordered we were overcharged (paid in cash) however the guys down there sorted it out. Last time I ordered was a different pizza than what I ordered, didn’t say anything and ate it. Mistakes happen. This order, I ordered the country chicken pizza as part of the meal, and the creamy soda drink. No idea what pizza I received but certainly not anything chicken. Looks vegetarian. No mayo as advertised, and was sent a bottle of Kirk’s pasito. That can just go down the drain. Not a fan. So cheers...
