Updated 24/02/2021: Your response was hilarious, we can see you steaming đ. Our review is based on what we had clarified with your wait staff, what we ordered and eaten. We call a spade a spade, if you don't like it, too bad. We are not criminals but you made us sound one just because we gave a 1-Star review! You are a very bitter person! What will your customers think when they saw your response? We paid for our food, we reserve the right to say what we thought about your food and what I actually saw in your kitchen and God can be my witness for what I saw in your kitchen. We cut away the burnt bits of your Onion Bhajis, and also spat some into the serviettes and wrapped them up, as we didnât want an unsightly mess and so you thought that ânothingâ went to the bin. For the 2 dishes that you said were wiped clean, it was because we don't like wasting food but that did not mean we enjoyed them, they were average, we just respect the produce. If your restaurant serves tap water just admit it, doesnât matter if it was refrigerated or not, the Chlorine smell is very strong. The main ingredient of the Drunken Noodles obviously is some sort of Asian Rice Wine. If your restaurant is not using this important ingredient for the dish then it should be taken off the menu! Can you make Lemon Juice Without Lemons, but still call it Lemon Juice? We decided not to order the Drunken Noodles because it didn't sound right without using the star ingredient but still kept the name, this is very misleading and not authentic. Glad we clarified and didnât waste money on that fake "Drunken" Noodles! We also found out Basa fish was used for your Madras Fish Curry - a cheap Vietnamese fish. Why didnât your menu indicate that it was Basa used for the curry?! Luckily we didnât order the fish curry either! Why arenât you using Australian fish like snapper, perch, flatheadâŚetc ? Why use a foreign product? After hearing how the waitress described the Drunken Noodles, we decided not to order the Steak, perhaps the best place to have a good steak is at a pub coz usually that's what they are good at. BTW, we do cook a lot of gourmet meals at home so we do know what we are talking about when reviewing your food. I just received a Google notification that 6000 people had enjoyed my reviews! đđđ If you think my review was fake, then the best thing is to remove Google reviews from your website so no one can critique your food! If you expect only good reviews from all your customers, then you are not living in the real world! Before we leave our table, we even do you a favour by piling up our plates neatly and gave the table a good wipe so we donât leave a messy table for you to clean up! Dear customers who read my review about Cilantro, beware of restaurant owners who turned bitter and nasty when they receive negative feedback, and try to mislead others that Google Reviewers are writing fake reviews! Tap water was served, can taste the Chlorine, not impressed. The onion bhajis were burnt, I suspect they were cooked ahead and re-deep fried when customers order them. To pay $9.50 for 3 burnt Onion Bhajis was terrible, they are only fit for the bin! We didn't complain as we don't want to cause trouble or attract attention. The Vindaloo and the Lamb Shack are not the best we've ever had, just average. Not impressed with the Drunken Noodles at all when there's no prawns (replaced by pork) and no alcohol was used for this dish! Original version was prawns marinated in alcohol, but you can still marinate pork in alcohol to give that "Drunken" effect, that's how the Asians do it! I wasn't impressed when I walked passed the kitchen and saw the kitchen staff left the wok on the floor! Paid almost $100 for our drinks and food. Will not come back here again, better off having Chicken Treats just...
Read moreOutstanding pad kee mao. Of the hundreds of pad kee mao I've had, this is definitely top 5, possible top 3. Very, very delicious, great portion and the twist of using a thicker hokkien type noodle to hold the sauce instead of a flat rice noodle is an inspired choice.
My partner ordered the butter masala and usually eats like a sparrow. Inhaled the entire serving. Can't do better than that.
Fantastic and friendly service, great setting and brilliant food, we will definitely be...
Read moreUsually, when a restaurant tries to do multiple cuisines, they get none of them right. Cilantros is the exception â I had a delicious massaman, my friend had âthe best steak everâ, and we had absolutely amazing spring rolls for entree. Open late(ish) by Manji standards which was a godsend after a long drive. Thank you to our waitress for the advice on local attractions. And of course, as the name suggests, plenty of cilantro (coriander) to keep us...
