After a long day at Philip Island, we were on the hunt for some Indian food but struggled to find a place open. Luckily, we came across this food truck, and it turned out to be a gem! Garry and Mandy graciously waited for us for an hour, accommodated us and served our family some of the most delicious Indian food we’ve had in a long time. Their exceptional service, warm hospitality, and genuine kindness made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors!

We order pani puri, tandoori veg momo, tikki chat, veg hakka noodles. Pani puri is good, tikki chat is ok ok, tandoori veg momo is so worst which chef cook the momo first and then marinate later and veg hakka noodles is so disgusting its seem trainee chef made the noodles and by mistake they put too much vinegar on it. We ask to make again and again who ever made is unprofessional chef seriously we throw in the bin.

Too ashamed to even give a one star rating. Service was too bad that we didn’t even get to taste the food. We ordered Behl Puri and it took more than half and hour, the quote we repeatedly heard is “ready in two minutes”, “it will be ready in five minutes”. This cant and shouldn’t be tolerated by any customer. Standing there for approximately forty minutes, watching Mandy and Gary tossing and turning pooris instead of serving customers that had ordered a long time ago. It is absolutely atrocious to see around 10 customers after us recieve their food. These two chefs are incredIbly rude and should learn their values...

“Absolutely amazing experience at 2 Desi Chef! The food is bursting with authentic Indian flavors—every bite takes you on a culinary journey. The butter chicken and samosas were perfection, and the spice levels were spot on.

What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. It’s clear they care deeply about their customers and the quality of their food.
