We used to love The Rasoi before it was re branded. Unfortunately our experience was not only unappetising, but seriously uncleanly too.

I’ve added a photo to prove that we did eat here just in case the owner tries to say this is a fake review.

I don’t like writing bad reviews as I do think restaurants have bad days occasionally but this was pretty appalling.

Nearly every glass we were given was dirty, sticky, had fingerprints. The cutlery had dishwashing gunk or dried food residue all over them. We asked for replacements on all the items on our table and still got given dirty utensils.

I had to ask the lady to wash my cutlery and glasses by hand in front of us.

The curry was 5/10 Nan bread was stale, could bang it on the table 3/10 Rice was fine 8/10

It really grossed me out and I hate to think what standards were being used in the kitchen if they can’t provide clean eating utensils at the bare minimum.

This place is extremely dirty. We dined in and we were the only ones there. It was one lady cooking the food and serving no other staff members in the restaurant. The cups, plates and cutlery were not cleaned and extremely dirty! I checked the others on other tables and they were also not clean. We had to ask her to wash them by hand in the basin. The food was average and as it was one staff member in the whole restaurant you could tell it had all been microwaved as they didn’t take long to come out. The toilets were filthy and it had not been cleaned.

The food made us feel ill after we ate it. Wouldn’t come here again mostly due to the uncleanliness, I do not believe this place should be operating due to the unhygienic conditions.

Over prised, under staffed and unregistered business. I just 10 mins ago odered Gajar ka halwa, it was first of all served in a 250 mls container for 10$ and the box was only half! Yes, there are only handfull of restaurants that are open so late so i could have just let go.. But then I tried using 2 cards that were meal cards and should be working in all restaurants and both cards got declined and the girl on register tells me that the restaurant is not registered yet..Seriously!?? The food tasted so bad.. if you are charging almost double the amount of what other restaurants charge the least you can do is give good food.. rather it was all ghee me and my friend had 2 spoons and literally threw the box in bin it...
