New place in Cranbourne ,shares the same location with 7-11 next door . Excellent service and the food was great. Oporto is an Australian fast food restaurantfranchise with a Portuguese-theme. Oporto specialises in Portuguese style chicken and burgers. The first Oporto restaurant was founded in 1986 by António Cerqueira, an Australian of Portuguese descent, in North Bondi, New South Wales, Australia but was originally named Portuguese Style Bondi Charcoal Chicken. The 'Oporto' name came from Porto, Portugal's second largest city. Oporto first opened a franchise store in 1995 and was named the fastest growing franchise in Australia in January 2005 by Business Review Weekly. 2 times I have been here, I asked for my meal to be "large", I pay for my meal, then they give me a can of drink. I said, I ordered a large meal, can I get the bottle please. They look at me and say, oh you wanted large drink as well? I'm like yes that's why I ordered a LARGE meal. This has happened twice? Then they have to go talk to their manager to add on the large drink and I have to pay the difference as they never put it through as large drink, only large chips. Why would I say large MEAL to not have the drink upsized too? Makes no sense.

A few times I have been through I've paid for garlic dipping sauce and didn't receive it, not realising until I get home.

The very last time I went here, I specifically said large chips and large drink, to avoid confusion. Once I reach the payment window, the lady recites our order saying "regular" meal to me. I didn't bother to correct her for a large meal as it's not worth the hassle. I just paid for a regular meal.

I enjoy the food here but man, the communication is not great. Twice I have actually gone inside to order, it's been empty both times and yet it still takes some time for any of the staff to even look at you or acknowledge you coming in. We order three meals two Bondi wraps medium meals and Large Burger meal via the drive though service was quick and easy, that’s where the great service ended. Got to the check out window and the lady with thick Indian accent repeated my order which was difficult to understand, but enough to work out she was confirming only two meals from the three ordered. We waited 6 mins in the drive through, finally received meals. We tucked into the meals, while out and about the chips were 3/5, the wraps were 4/5 but the burger was soggier than a supermarket microwave burger 1/5.
