I really wanted to enjoy this place as I have driven past so many times and never been in. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. My toasted sandwich was soggy and flavourless and my sausage roll was soggy too. $20 for those 2 items I expected more.
Reply to owner- weâve all had it hard the last two years, Iâm not a chef, Iâm a front line worker, a nurse - I spend my days covered in hot PPE assisting people in the home post surgery and Covid recovery in your area. In the few minutes I have to grab my lunch on the go, the last thing I want is to have to do your quality control for you between clients or spend my limited lunch returning to your venue to fix your quality problems. From your response it sounds like I am to be saddled with the responsibility to monitor and fix your training deficiencies and endure such a passive aggressive response, at no point have you invited me back to fix it. Iâm glad others think your food is terrific, my experience was sub par and I hope this feedback has provided you a different customer experience that may have been a blind spot for you and the team, as well as emphasising the inconvenience and impact poor quality food has on your patrons, particularly those with limited bandwidth in these...

I ended up throwing half of it out, sadly. Lemon dessert not bad but excessively sweet (yes, dessert can be much too sweet and it ruins it). Vanilla slice had good flavour and texture but the pastry wasn't fresh - somewhat soggy. Lasagna was nice, had great flavour, but was light on meat. A big fraction was just pasta and cheese. Also the microwaving recommendation on the packet was ridiculous (don't do this!) but in the oven (also recommended on the packet) it was much better. I'd prefer if they charge a bit more and provide more meat.
Gnocchi was actually quite lovely!! But I can get the identical product at Leo's supermarket. Lamingtons were ok, but a fancy place could use a fancier jam, at least one step up from the cheapest donut jam. It's like everything had immense potential, but was was just... underwhelming. I'd still gladly try lunch stuff in person (this was delivery) though and the verdict is still out on their coffee :)
Of course this is just personal opinion - that's what reviews are. No need...

Whilst enjoying our ice-cream and coffee, one of the Baketico staff offered us some free baked goods instead of throwing them away at the end of the day. It was an amazing gesture and a great way to hook a customer for life! This experience only happened just over a week ago, but I've been back 4 times since then, not to mention others in my family that I've referred on, all within that same time. Huge highlight for me is the sausage roll, not usually a fan but these people are pastry magicians. So good! Also took home a vegan gluten free lasagne for my mum, that too, was absolutely delicious. Eating my way through all the options, won't be long before I too look like a puffed pastry haha, but...
